Chapter 14: Wailmer Overboard!

Meanwhile, Huck, Snag, Eevee, Vulpix, and Togepi ended up appearing on a large island with large trees, rocks, and sand.

"Uhhhh, where are we?" Huck asked.

The duo and their Pokemon all looked around curiously. "Eevee!" Eevee cried.

"Eevee's right, Huck!" Snag cried. "We must be on some sort of island!"

"Yes, you are!" a voice said.

"Who said that?" Huck asked.

"I did!"

The duo turned to see a girl wearing a short sleeved green shirt, blue shorts, sneakers, and a matching hat. Next to her was a little white Pokemon that looked similar to Togepi, but with wings.

"Whom might you be?" Snag asked.

"I'm Charlotte. And this is my partner, Togetic!"

"Tic!"

Huck scanned the little Pokemon with his Pokedex.

"Togetic: the Happiness Pokemon. A dual fairy and flying type and the evolved form of Togepi. Togetic is said to be a Pokémon that brings good fortune. When the Pokémon spots someone who is pure of heart, it is said to appear and share its happiness with that person."

"Wow! This is Togepi's evolution!" Huck cried. Then he picked up Togepi and showed her the Togetic. "Togepi, meet your evolved form, Togetic!"

Togepi looked at the Togetic curiously. "Toki?"

The Togetic looked back at Togepi and smiled. "Tic, tic!"

"Cool, you have a Togepi!" Charlotte cried.

"Yeah, she's cute isn't she?" Huck replied. "By the way, my name's Huckleberry Hound! And this is my partner, Eevee!"

"Vee!"

"And I'm his best friend, Snagglepuss! And this is Vulpix!"

"Vul!"

Suddenly, Dedenne came onto Snag's shoulder.

"Oh, and say hello to Dedenne!"

"Denne!"

"Pleased to meet you!" Charlotte giggled. "You must be lost."

"Yeah, we got separated from our friends," Huck replied. "Oh, and it's so hot over here. It's making me thirsty!

Charlotte opened her backpack. "I've got some cool drinks in here if you'd like one. Soda Pop or Lemonade?"

"Soda pop for me!" Huck replied.

"And I'll have some lemonade!" Snag added.

Charlotte gave the duo their drinks and some straws, and they started sipping away on them

"So, how did you get here?" Charlotte asked.

"Well, we were trying to escape some Stunky, when Togepi used Metronome to teleport us here," Huck explained. "Isn't that right, Togepi?"

"Toki!"

"Do you think you can help us, Charlotte?" Snag asked.

"I think so!" Charlotte replied. "Follow me!"

She led the duo to where a big, round blue whale was sitting on the sand.

"A Wailmer!" Huck cried. Then he scanned it with his Pokedex.

"Wailmer: the Ball Whale Pokemon. A water type. Wailmer loves to startle people by storing water inside its body, then expelling it through its nostrils."
