After the relay was over, the gang continued walking through the meetup when they saw three Pokemon playing with each other. One of them looked like a bright orange monkey with a flame on the tip of its tail. The second one looked like a fuzzy little puppy, and the third looked like a little pig with a spring for a tail, and a little pink pearl on its head.
"Ain't that just adorable?" Huck chuckled. "These three little Pokemon playing with each other!"
"What are they, anyway?" Boo-Boo asked.
"I don't know," Snag replied. "But the puppy sure looks cute!"
The puppy went over to Snag, and looked at him curiously. "Pup?"
"How do you do, little puppy?" the lion greeted. "Why, you are so cute! Adorable! Precious, even!" Then he scanned it with his Pokedex.
"Lillipup: the Puppy Pokemon. A normal type. Lullipup's long hair around its face provides a radar, letting it sense subtle changes in its environment."
The Lillipup then started licking Snag on his cheek. "Hey, that tickles!" he chuckled.
Huck laughed. "Isn't that what all puppies do?"
The monkey went over to Quick Draw and leapt into his arms. "Chimchar! Chimchar!" it cried.
"Howdy thar, little feller!" he laughed. "Let me see what kind of Pokemon you are." Then he scanned the monkey with his Pokedex.
"Chimchar, the Monkey Pokémon. A fire type. Chimchar easily climbs the sheerest of walls and lives on mountain tops. When it sleeps, its flames go out."
"Golly, Chimchar!" the horse chuckled. "You sure are a playful little feller, aren't you?
"Chimchar!" the Chimchar replied.
The pig then bounced over to the Doggies and started bouncing on Doggie Daddy's head!
"Spoink! Spoink!" it cried out as it bounced.
"Hey!" Doggie Daddy shouted. "What are you doing on my head?"
Augie and Huck both laughed. "I think he likes you, dear ol' dad!" the puppy giggled.
"He sure is a funny little feller!" Huck added as he scanned the pig with his Pokedex.
"Spoink, the Bounce Pokémon. A psychic type. Spoink moves around by bouncing on its tail. Its psychic powers are made stronger by the pearl on its head."
Doggie Daddy looked at the Spoink and chuckled. "Heh, heh, heh! I will admit, that little piggy sure loves bouncing!'
Nurse Joy came up to the gang, and noticed the three Pokemon making some new friends.
"I see you three have just made some friends!" she said.
"Nurse Joy?" Huck wondered. "When did you get here?"
"I came to look for Lillipup, Spoink, and Chimchar, but it looks like they found you!" Nurse Joy replied. "I think they like you, don't they?"
"They sure do!" Quick Draw replied.
"These Pokemon were lost, so I decided to look after them until I could find the perfect trainers for them! Would you three like to take them?"
"Well, what do you three think?" Doggie Daddy asked. "Wanna join us?"
The three Pokemon ran up to him, Snag, and Quick Draw and gave them hugs.
"Pup! Lillipup!"
"Chimchar, Chimchar!"
"Spoink! Spoink!"
"Welcome to the team, Chimchar!" Quick Draw beamed.
"We're gonna be friends forever, Lillipup!" Snag grinned.
