Straight to the point, thing I'd love to hate in a story's descriptions. It drives me away even before I read the description. Do not list the following things:~

~*insert cliche name here* is your typical goody two shoes. (typical? Please define that. Every teenager is different. No one can be tagged typical. Get it in your head.)

~16 years old (numericals with the age and I'm out.)

~bad boy, playboy, golden popular boy, greek God (No, please just, no.)

~good girl (how the hell did the good girl end up in a story that's a student teacher relationship?!?! Enlighten me.)

~A handsome jerk kidnapped her (Say what?!)

~her parents abuse her, her brother rapes her, her friends bully her but then comes a boy from another town... (Go and see a doctor, a therapist, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a nun and book yourself a mental hospital for your sick imagination.)

~she is the girl of every dream but a guy forcibly steals away her first kiss. (Oh c'mon. If she's that beautiful do you think there'd be a first kiss? And was she a handicap to not pull away?)

~starting with the words 'I'm a junior in high school...' (Blah, blah , blah lady. That's like the worst way to start.)

~Blue eyes and black 'hairs' or green eyes and golden 'hairs' (Personal descriptions are the biggest no-no in big bold letters. And hairs? WHY???)

~Will they fall in love? (No, they will fall in the gutter since you are writing the most obvious line. There wouldn't be a romance story if it weren't for 'love' and shiz.)

~Meet *dummy two shoes* I'm in love with my stalker/bully/best friend/her brother/his friend/my uncle/his brother/my teacher/ his son... (Urm, what? If this is the first line then I'm doubting the sanity of the author.)

~If your description contains a personal author note before it starts, you are a... a... (sorry I can't think of anything that isn't insulting or offending.)

Avoide personal descriptions of characters, greetings like 'Hie, I'm...', author notes, stupidly obvious questions and go along with a  sensible plot with the right amount of length that isn't too big or too small and you are good to go! :)
