The sun shone through a window, shining straight onto a sleeping figure's face. The girl stirred as birds outside her window began chirping and making noise. But it was the loud beeping of her alarm clock that woke her.

"Ah!" She yelped when she saw the time, she jumped out of her bed, throwing off the red hoodie and Sophie shorts she calls pajamas and tugging on a pair of jean shorts and a pale pink turtleneck. She pulled on a pair of ankle-high white socks and quickly laced up her white converse high tops. She managed to quickly clasp her pearly white gemstone necklace around her neck before she ran out of her room, skillfully braiding her hair as she went.

She raced down the stairs, lugging her pale pink bookbag behind her.

"Crap, crap, crap, crap!" came her muttered curses as she ran around the quiet, empty house, cleaning things, straightening up, and other various household tasks.

"Ah! Breakfast! And Lunch!" She groaned, throwing Japanese, and Spanish textbooks into her bag.

She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl, of milk, and some cereal quickly made a bowl and sat down to eat. Just as soon as she sat down, someone knocked on the door.

"Oh lord, what now..." She grumbled as she hauled herself out of her seat at the kitchen island.

When she got to the door and opened it, she found a boy standing there. His auburn hair was swept to the sides, and slightly slicked back, and he was wearing brown, khaki pants, a black leather belt, a yellow button-down shirt, and a red sweater vest.

"Oh, Tobes', What's up?"The girl said, nonchalantly, looking the shorter male up and down.

"Rae! Don't you know what time it is?" Tobes said urgently.

"No? Why? Should I?" Rae said giving Tobes a sort of confused, yet teasing look.

"Toby! We're gonna be late! Tell her to come on already!" Another voice yelled from behind Tobes.

"Alright, Jimbo! I'm on it!" Toby replied, giving the taller boy behind him a glare, then turning his attention back to the blonde female in front of him, "Jim's right RaeRae, we gotta go! We're already late as it is!"

"Ah, crud! Not again. Jim, you should just call me!" Raelynn yelled back at the black-haired boy that was sitting on his bicycle in her driveway.

She rushed back inside the house, quickly downed the rest of her breakfast, and grabbed her house key, bookbag, and phone.

She then ran to the garage, flipped the light on, and grabbed the handle of her dark blue bike.

"Good god! Alexa! We're gonna be late!" She screamed into the house, as she heard thumping footsteps down the stairs above her.

"We're late? Why didn't you just wake me up!" Her shorter younger sister yelled as she two grabbed at her skateboard and tugged her book bag onto her back.

"I didn't think about it, that's why." Raelynn retorted, clicking the button that opened the garage door, revealing Jim and Toby who were waiting for the both of them.

"Let's go!" Toby said urgently, as he and Jim began to pedal away from the two girls.

"Aish! Wait for us!" She shouted at the two as they raced ahead.
