Daniel's pov
Tails:I think you lost your speed and don't know how you'll get it back

Daniel:what do you mean

Tails:try to run

Daniel:ok(I tried to use my speed and get to tails quickly but instead I fell out of bed to the ground) ugh ow that hurt so now what do we do

Tails:hmm I guess I could take a blood test on you and see what I can figure out

As he said that he helped me up and we went to the workshop/garage and Tails took some of my blood and found something interesting

Tails:hmm intriguing it seems you still have your abilities to move at high speeds like Sonic still

Daniel:but Tails I can't access my speed thanks to egghead

Tails:maybe so but look for yourself your speed was caused by the chaos stone remember you touched it and it gave you power that's natural

Daniel:meaning what exactly that it's mental not physical

Tails:exactly just know that you'll get your speed back and remember the love and happiness and where it comes from and what gives you that strength

I nodded and we decided to take a bit of fresh air and take the new tornado for a flight test and worked just fine and we decided to land and Tails took off again but Eggman struck back again and shot down the tornado and Tails bailed out and I remembered what he told me about my speed and started to run feeling the love and strength I get from Tails,Lilly, Amy and Sonic and when I opened my eyes I saw Tails falling but falling slowly meaning my speed is back and I ran and caught Tails

Tails:your powers are back hehe

Daniel:only because you were right about connecting to them by our bound and love for each other

Eggman: impossible I striped you of your speed

Daniel:no I am more then speed I am speed and your done

I ran him to jail then took Tails and I home for bed
The next morning
Tails pov
I woke up and it was 7 am and I noticed Daniel's not in bed so where is he I then heard noise coming from the kitchen and when I got there I saw black lightning zipping around
Daniel's pov

Tails: hey Daniel

I stopped using my speed when I saw and heard Tails so I quickly went to the table with breakfast then went over to Tails and gave him a morning hug and kissed him

Daniel:sorry if I woke you,I just got up and felt this rush and took off and came back to make breakfast

Tails:it's ok I'm just glad you figured out how to fully control your speed,so shall we have breakfast then maybe relax in bed and cuddle

Daniel:(chuckles) yeah we can do that

Later that evening
Tails and I were watching TV when he fell asleep so I went outside and sat at the stage thinking about how to spend his birthday together Tomorrow
