chapter 19 hedgehog day

Daniel's pov
I can't believe how far I've come in life and meeting Sonic,Amy and my husband Tails,man life has sure gone by quickly these past few years and now here I am at sonic's house and

Amy:Daniel

Daniel:agh,Amy don't do that

Tails:babe you ok

Daniel:I'm fine Amy just startled me is all

Tails growled at Amy while walking away

Daniel:wow never seen him upset like that before

Amy:well you are his husband so he's just being protective of you

Daniel:I'm gonna check on him and by the way stop worrying, Sonics birthday celebration will be amazing

She nodded and went back to the kitchen as I went over to Tails

Daniel:hey you ok

Tails:yeah is Amy mad(Daniel shook his head and brought him in for a passionate kiss) ok so how are you doing this morning after well you know

Daniel:I'm ok still a bit tired and sore but I'm good as long as I have you,heh I guess we could finish here then go home and umm

Tails:what oh you mean well umm I guess we could I mean we've been together for years and never even umm yeah we can

I looked down and unsure and nervous like as if it's my first time trying to talk to Tails but I must've worried him since I zoned out on him

Tails:(chuckles) hey earth to wolf pup,you there

Daniel:huh I I'm uh sorry

I walked to the kitchen where Amy saw me upset

Amy:hey bud you ok

Daniel:I just want to say thanks for having me over but I gotta go

Tails:babe please wait

Woosh

Tail's pov
Amy:(sighs)Tails

I nodded and awkwardly told her what happened and she told me to go home and talk to him,so I left to find him repeatedly punching Eggman

Tails:Daniel,Daniel stop babe hey(pulled him off eggman)what were thinking and don't run off

Daniel's pov
Daniel:I he (sighs)I was just heading home when he showed up and threatened you and Sonic so I got mad and well I cou (sighs) didn't stop myself

Tails started to walk away towards Sonics house and I sped home and sat the ring on the table and laid on the bed crying till I fell asleep
Two hours later
I woke up due to a scent coming from the kitchen so I went and saw Tails making all my favorites

Daniel:what are you doing,it's going to take months to eat all this what got mmmmm

I was cut off by him kissing me then felt something slip onto my finger

Daniel:oh I forgot about this sorry for running off and to put my ring back on

I looked down and away from Tails and he gently forced me to look at him

Tails:hey I should also apologize I'm the one who made it awkward but we still have a chance to go to Sonic and Amy's tonight but how about some lunch and then take this stuff to their house

As we were eating at the table Tails spoke up

Tails:Daniel are we good

Daniel:yeah of course why you ask

Tails:well I hate to bring it up again

I noticed his face turn a little bit red and I realized what he was talking about so I nodded and I had no choice but to change subjects

Daniel:Tails umm can you run some tests on me after Sonic's birthday bash

Tails:sure but babe can I ask why you want tests run on you(I looked down ashamed and he walked over to me) hey you can tell me,is because what happened between you and eggman(I nodded)hey I'm sure your fine

Daniel:please I felt the dark power for a split second then when you touched me it went away

Tails:ok let's go to Sonic's house then we'll come home and run those tests

Daniel:ok

I smiled then we went to sonic's birthday party and the four of us had fun and then afterwards me and tails went home to run those tests and then we got the results and I was surprised by what we saw,I had no trace of dark chaos energy in me
