Chapter 14 chaos control

It was 2 in the morning and Tails woke up and saw that he was all alone he got up and sighed knowing just where his husband was
Daniel's pov
I woke up because I felt someone pick me up and then I was on something soft so I opened my eyes to see Tails glaring at me

Daniel:umm hi(all nervous like)

Tails:(shaking his head)how many times are we gonna go through this Daniel I told you, you can't hurt me,but there you were on the couch

I sat up and looked down knowing what I did,actually did hurt him

Tails:hey I'm not mad(sits next to me)I just can't understand why you keep pushing me away

I started to break down when he said that and I'm not meaning to hurt tails maybe I should just talk to him

Daniel:ta Tails I I don't mean t to hurt you I I just it's

He put his hand on my back and pulled me close

Daniel:I don't know what to do I feel like I'm not myself lately when I use my speed and

Knock knock knock

Tails:hold that thought babe

He kissed my cheek and went to the door

Amy:hey Tails
Tails:Amy what brings you by,please come in

Amy:well I came to check on you and Daniel because umm it's Sonic he's been acting weird lately

Daniel:what do you mean weird,because I've felt different and not myself,I've even attacked tails without wanting to and I'm afraid of doing something that (started to cry)

Tails came over to me and tried to calm me down

Tails:so as Daniel was asking what's going on with Sonic Amy

Amy:to be honest similar to what he said,and he glowed a dark blue color every time he runs

Tails:Dan I know you don't want to but umm

I nodded and we went outside and I closed my eyes and accessed my speed and I then ran around the stage then stopped in front of amy and Tails

Dark Daniel:grrrr

Tails stepped towards me slowly

Tails:babe it's time to get in control again,all I want to do

I looked into tails eyes and was myself again

Daniel:is come running home to you(hugs Tails)Tails

He rubbed my back as I cried on his shoulder

Tails:shh it's ok nothing happened and I know you're afraid of using your speed but we needed to be sure

Amy:why is he afraid to use his power

Tails:every time he does for some reason unknown he's gone dark and I think it's to do with Shadow and the chaos emeralds

Amy:what do you mean

Daniel:because of this(runs without speed to get the chaos gem and back) its a copy so me and Tails were studying the gem and found out it's a fake stone and someone is stealing the real ones

Amy:and replacing them I say we visit a certain someone

I nodded and started to walk forward but Tails stopped me and put a hand on my chest

Daniel:I'll be fine I just won't use my powers,I promise so please don't hold me back

He sighed and agreed

At eggman's base we found the vault after what seemed it took us an hour or two to get to it but once there
Dark sonic:that's far enough hahahaha

Daniel:Sonic this isn't you,you need to ugh

Woosh

Next to Sonic was Shadow

Daniel:Shadow,Sonic and me three weapons for power and chaos

Tails:babe what are you talking about

Daniel:Shadows note it was a warning not a quest we need to get to the real gemstone and emeralds

Tails:right I'll get into the vault can you guys try to get through to them

We nodded and tails went to the vault
Tails pov
I went to the vault and was hacking the computer to access the vault door once done I found a lot of stuff but once I found the real chaos emeralds and Daniel's gem I got them into a box and destroyed the fakes and went back to the others
No pov
After Tails went to the vault Daniel and Shadow were fighting while Amy tried to get through to Sonic but then Amy was cornered by dark Sonic,Daniel and Shadow when they fell unconscious as Tails came running towards them
5 hours later
Daniel's pov
I woke up in bed as I sat up feeling better than ever as I went towards the kitchen I grabbed a glass of water and saw Tails on the stage outside with a small box in his hands so I went to him

Daniel:hey you good(sat next to him)thanks for what you did and I hope we are good because I'm lost without you Tails

Tails:same and yeah we're good are you feeling better

Daniel:yeah I'm good finally better than ever,umm where's my ring(saw he had it)why do you oh got it I'll umm go pack

I stood up and started toward the house when Tails grabbed me from behind

Tails: stop that's not why I have it

I turned to look at him and saw he was crying

Tails:your dark self took it off and you haven't been wearing it for the entire time we were trying to find the real gem and emeralds,so please stay,baby don't leave me please

I grabbed his waist and pulled him close for a passionate kiss

Daniel:sorry for the wrong accusation Tails I guess my mind is still a bit hazy,but I'm glad to be back so(I hold out my hand)still married forever

He tackled me and placed the ring on my finger and continued to nuzzle me and then we went to bed for a make out session and well deserved cuddle and decent sleep for the night
