ch 11 an old friend

Daniel's pov
(2 days after last chapter)
I woke up with a headache and as I was about to get up I got tackled by a certain two tailed fox

Tails:your ok I was so worried

Daniel:mmm ugh I don't know about that babe

Tails:huh what do you mean are you hurt somewhere,if so what can I do

Daniel:well first (I signaled him to come here so we can kiss)mmm and second do we have anything to get rid of this headache

Tails:I think so hang on

He gave me a kiss then went to go find something when he came back he gave me a pill and some water and helped get proper up so I could lay comfortably in bed with him by my side
1 hour later and I was fine and noticed Tails was asleep and I decided to leave him be and started to pet his twin tails

Tails:mmm umm what are you doing hon

Daniel:just petting your tails babe,sorry I woke you

Tails:it's ok,so how are you feeling

Daniel:I'm good so what happened to us last I remember I was attacked by Eggman and then nothing

Tails:hmm oh yeah so here's what I found out and you know it's been almost 3 days since the attack right

I nodded "I do now so what happened"

Tails:Well I walked outside to see you and
Eggman then he knocked you out but you were saved by a red blur

Daniel:wait a red blur?

Tails:yeah why,do you know who it was because I was saved by Sonic then Eggman got put in jail after

Daniel:I think it was Shadow an old silent friend of mine but after he moved away I never saw him again

Tails:I didn't know you knew shadow
I nodded and got out of bed and went to the kitchen to get some water while tails followed and when I saw him walk towards me I could tell he had some concerns for me

Daniel:what,why are you looking at me like that

Tails:just wanted to know if you're ok,you were out for two days and now you're telling me you know Sonic's rival so yeah I'm a little concerned about you babe not mad worried

Daniel:(smiles and walks toward Tails) I'm fine and second Sonic and Shadow may be rivals but they both care about me,sure Shadows a bit rough on the edges but he cares and what matters to me is you and you alone because I need you,and I married you because of that love we shared so please try not to worry so much we will always find a way back to each other no matter what

Tails:you're right I'm sorry

I saw Tails was upset so I grabbed his waist and pulled him close for a kiss then we spent the rest of the day cuddling on the couch watching movies then I noticed Tails asleep so I ran us to bed for the night
The next day
I woke up and left a note for Tails saying went for a walk and headed out for a couple hours
Tails pov
I woke like usual but noticed that Daniel wasn't next to me so I went to the kitchen thinking he was there only to find a note saying he went for a walk so I grabbed something to eat then went to the workshop to do some upgrades on the tornado for a few hours then when it was 11:30 I went to the kitchen to make grilled cheese and soup for lunch when Daniel came home
Daniel's pov A few moments ago
As I was walking home I was greeted by a black hedgehog and I walked up to him just for him to leave a note and run off

Daniel:huh weird guess I'll read this with Tails

Woosh

As soon I as I got back home and went inside I was hugged from behind by Tails

Tails:morning babe

Daniel:morning fur ball

Tails:what's this(Pointed to the note)

Daniel:on the way home Shadow approached me and then left this as he walked away then he was gone so I rushed home thinking we should read this together

He nodded so we went to the table had lunch then I opened the note that was from Shadow

Note:I don't know if you remember me old friend but I remember you or at least I did I've been captured by Eggman and he's turning me into a weapon to destroy you and Sonic this was the only way I could quickly warn you
