Daniel's pov
After we read the note we went to sonic and amy and tried to come up with how to rescue shadow from Eggman then I started to get frustrated since we weren't getting anywhere

Daniel: ugh can we just pick an option instead of wasting time

Daniel:huh Tails what's he talking about

Tails:sonic wants you to take care of Eggman and while he's distracted me and Sonic well help Shadow and Amy can you keep an eye on Daniel while we help Shadow

At eggmans base
We were standing a few feet away and tails noticed I was worried

Tails:hey with Sonic we will be in and out in no time,and you get your revenge on dr.eggman

Daniel:I don't want to lose control what if I can't be brought back and our nightmares become real

Amy:and besides you'll have me with you so let's save our new friend

With Tails and Sonic

Sonic:well this it so how do we get shadow out without turning the weapon mode thing on

Tails:hmmm ah this computer should have data and resources along with whatever we need to save Daniel and Shadow both so they control their power instead of it controlling them

Sonic: cool so now what you download what we need get Shadow out of here then Dan will destroy the base

Tails:yes and no there's one more thing you need to do

Sonic tilted his head as Tails told him the real plan he came up with and told him what he told Daniel to do while they saved Shadow

As Daniel started to connect to his speed he started to go dark and Amy took a few steps back as Sonic entered the room and got her out as he came back for Eggman and ran him out then dark Daniel noticed Tails in front of him

I started to walk around Tails but he stepped in front of me again and I got mad

When we're done singing I was back to normal and realized that our love is true love and it will never fade but it gave me an idea to sing to him

After I was done me and tails destroyed the base and I ran us home and at the house I was in the bedroom sitting on the bed thinking about what happened when I went dark and I started to cry and Tails must of heard me and ran in and sat next to me as laid in his lap as he held me close and when morning came me and tails were sitting on the couch watching a movie when there was a knock at the door ,me and tails looked at each other wondering who it was so went to the door opened it to see shadow and sonic with amy and they looked a little off
