Daniel's pov
It was early morning when I heard something in the other room and it startled me awake so I looked at the clock and it was 5 in the morning and looked to the side where Tails lays but he wasn't there

Daniel:Tails(.....)Tails

With no response I got up but before I could get out of bed he came in with breakfast

Tails:oh hey I'm sorry if I woke you I was gonna come in the room to surprise you

Daniel:aw babe you didn't have to do that

Tails sat the tray down and jumped on the bed and tackled me in a morning hug and kiss

Tails:I know but I wanted to,plus I love you so much I wanted to express how much I love you

Daniel:I love you too Tails now let's have breakfast then we can go from there

After they ate Tails went to the workshop and Daniel went for a run,while out he was ambushed by some robots and had to take them out before heading back home

Daniel:(laughing) bring it,let's have some fun
Tails pov
When I was coming out the workshop I saw these robots and Eggman so I called for some help and as I did I got grabbed by one of the robots and it threw me towards a tree
Daniel's pov
(Few minutes ago before Tails called)
At super speed I hit the last three bots

Tails on coms:daniel I need hel ugh

Daniel:Tails.....Tails grrrr

I ran at super speed to tails's location and saw him slowly get grabbed and thrown toward a tree so I ran over and destroyed the robots and disabled Eggman's vehicle and quickly went over to Tails and caught him then took him to the couch in the house and then ran egghead to jail and ran back home to Tails

Daniel:hey,you ok babe

Tails:mmm aaahhhh what how

Daniel:umm I'll take that as a yes

Tails:not funny Daniel and how did I get inside

I told Tails about getting ambushed and how I saved him and took egghead to jail

Tails:oh thanks for saving me wolf pup(tries to get up but couldn't stand)

Daniel:woah easy fur ball just lay down and rest,I mean we should rest after that and an a a

Tails pov
Tails:babe! (Checks for a heartbeat )ok he's alive and breathing but where is he wounded..huh what it's, he's bleeding (rembers what Daniel said)oh when he saved me he said they were firing and must've gotten shot in the back ok hang on baby I got you no ones dying today

I took him into the workshop and within a few minutes to almost an hour I got the wound cleaned up and patched him up
Tails:now I just wait for him to wake up,please baby don't leave me,please be ok I can't lose you

Daniel's pov
I woke up in bed and noticed tails wasn't in bed and before I could even move I felt this wave of pain shoot down my back

Daniel:ahhh ugh what hap happened to me, Tails ugh Tails um are

Tails:oh no you are staying in bed for a while Daniel, even if you've been asleep for three days

Daniel:(in shock)three days!

Tails told me and reminded me of what happened and how he patched me up

Daniel:I guess we're even then since we saved each other huh,so how long do I have to stay in bed alone for

Tails:ok first off we are not even we saved each other because that's what we do Daniel we are husband's and I don't ever want to lose you just like you don't want to lose me

Daniel:you're right I'm sorry and the second

Tails: and second you still need to recover for at least another day or two,or at least until the pain is gone

I nodded and decided to take a nap and tails joined me
Three days later I finally recovered fully and woke up early morning with Tails cuddling up to me

Daniel:hey umm Tails can you let me up,I wanna get some water

Tails:.......

Daniel:Tails

Tails:mmm

Daniel:please wake up babe

Tails:mmm huh oh morning Daniel

Daniel:(chuckles)yeah um it's early morning furball,I only woke you so I could get up and

Tails:no you can't you're supposed to be resting

Daniel:hey shh hey calm down I'm fine ok and besides I'm getting tired of just laying around

Tails just looked down and I got on top of him and kissed him like no tomorrow and when we stopped kissing we looked into each other's eyes long enough to as if say everything is fine and with that we went back to sleep and in the morning I have a surprise waiting for Tails
4am
I woke up due to the sound of something like glass breaking and went to look for Tails

Daniel:Tails are you okay (nothing so where is he)babe please answer me, Tails

I got up but before I could leave the room Tails came running towards me

Tails:hey you ok I heard you scream

Daniel:me I was worried about you I heard something break and I thought,you

Tails:babe I'm fine I woke up so I went to the workshop to work on a project I started and I didn't want to wake you so I snuck out and must've passed out then I woke up because I heard you call out and when I woke up I saw I broke a beaker

Daniel:that's what woke me up,well I'm glad your ok(yawns)

Tails chuckled and said "let's go back to bed"
And I nodded as we went back to bed and I knew in a few hours I would have to finish my project but what's my husband working on
