"HE KICKED YOU OUT!?"
Luda threw her bags of junk onto the floor. She slouched into Wylan's spring-locked bed with all hope left at that fraud innkeeper. She huffed out of defeat, falling down and laying completely flat on the bed. Luda spun her wrist in the air. Ice particles swirled around her fingers like a blizzard.
"of course," Wylan groaned, "Mr Gorbachev has always been anti-grisha." Luda rolled her eyes. "Which is weird, because you know, you aren't." Luda huffed again, but amused. "If it helps, you can stay here for a while until you find another place."
Luda turned her head, a soft grateful smile played onto her lips. She reached a hand out for Wylan to grab onto. He smile gingerly when Luda kissed his knuckles in gratitude. It faded just as quickly when Luda slapped the backside of it. Hard.
"Ow!" Wylan snatched his hand back and rubbed the wounded area. "What was that for?"
Luda gawked at him with such ridicule of disbelief! She mouthed to him, "EVERYTHING LAST NIGHT!" She pushed herself off the bed and paced across the cold floor.
"Okay. I definitely threw you into the deep end," Wylan tried to remain steady. "But you did say to come to you with job openings." Luda stopped her foot down and slow turned to him with a look only found on disapproving mothers. "Yes. I know you meant only those based on musical gigs, but this is higher paying, and I know Kaz doesn't look trustworthy but he keeps his word."
Of course, a man who blew up his own club is trustworthy.
The door closing startled Wylan and Luda. Both looked over to see Nina walking in and exhaled in unison.
"Saints!" She chuckled, "what are you two so tense about?"
"Luda got kicked out of the Lanky Donkey inn." he got another slap.
"That sketchy place!?" Nina growled. "Did you kill someone there?"
If I did I would still be there! Luda signed quite frantically. Luda's hands continued to move in frantic signs that looked more like grisha movements then proper RSL.
"Slow down! Slow down," Nina reached to Luda's hands. "Start from the beginning." Luda took a deep breathe, and Nina translated. "Sturmhond found you at the inn...used your frozen touch to get out...people saw you and...chased you down here?!"
Wylan blinked, "no wonder you were really here last night."
And that's real reason why that bastard kicked me out of his inn Luda bite the inside of her mouth. And I would manipulate him into letting me stay but it's too risky. Other grisha-hating men know where I lived.
"Where you stayin' now?"
"With me for the moment," Wylan answered. "just until she gets her passport."
It's one temporary anyways. Luda signed. Probably only a few days.
"Come on," Nina tagged onto Luda's angel sleeve. "Kaz wants to meet up at some tavern."

Luda pulled up aside and leaned against the booth beside Nina. Her and Nina looked over the menu; she hoped breakfast was still serving.
"Jes has a question for you," Inej pulled Luda's attention away from the menu...it was too expensive for her anyways...
They all turned to Jesper at the end of the table, "look, a lot has happened since last night. We found out we lost our home," Jesper mouth got heavy, "and then you blew it up just to piss off Pekka Rollins."
