NEW YORK! 5 days until Christmas. Let me just tell you, I hate New York during this time of year. First it's all about getting to the places you need to be on time. Especially, when people are out buying presents for the people they're spending the holidays with. Which, I was currently doing—Christmas shopping with Matt and Raine, that included also being a third wheel.

They weren't necessarily together, yet. But I knew they liked one another which was too cute. And for only knowing Matt for a couple of weeks, he really has brought the best out of Raine.

"Oh, smell this" Raine gasps, she held a bottle of perfume near my nose, as I take a sniff of it. "I think Bailey will like this, smells amazing!".

"She definitely will!" I add, "I bought her two of those similar ones and then another bag".

Raine furrowed her eyebrows, "so you're done shopping?".

"Yes".

"And you got something for Jack?".

"No...".

Raine groans and grabs my shoulders. "We are not leaving this store until you get something for Jack".

"What the hell am I gonna buy him? I don't even know him that good" I tell her.

"You are so lying" she laughs in response. "You know what he likes. So go on, Matt, go with her around the store and see if it's uh...how do I say it? Friend to boyfriend girlfriend material?".

This was just stupid. Buying him a gift was a nice thought but I had already started overthinking. What if he doesn't get me anything? Will he even like this?

"I hope you're good at picking gifts out" I say to Matt. He looks at me and smiles, "trust me I am! I already picked out everyone's gifts even if I don't know them. It's the thought that counts. And if they don't like it, that's totally okay". Matt walks over to shoes, examines them, and walks away. "What does he even like?".

"Maybe we should get something for his cat? He adores his cat like a lot".

"Oh nice!" Matt says, "what type of cat".

"Um..hairless cat?".

"Oh.." he hums. "Okay, maybe not. Uh, does he skateboard?".

"Yes!" I excitedly say. "He does! Oh my god".

"There we have it!" Matt sighs in relief, "see that was easy! Now maybe you can get him some candy..if you know his favorite candy or something".
