raine's pov

     I QUICKLY WALK up the steps of the studio as matt tagged along behind me. I had a meeting with aaron , one of my friends. Being able to write the song about blair and jack actually meant a lot and knowing blair would be hearing this one day, made me happy. Matt knew all about the lyrics as I told him the first day we met...which if we didn't work out...that wouldn't have been a good idea.

    "Is the song ready" Matt asks me, as he opens the door for us to head inside. "You did write a lot".

    "It's a draft, Matty" I laughed at him. "This is just to show Aaron if I can start recording some of the process". We head towards the elevator and patiently wait. I could tell the groupchat was messaging because Matt's phone began to buzz so much.

    "Ohh, got it, okay" he replies. "What if they don't like the song?".

    He was right. "Uhh...then we'll pretend it's about someone else and i can always scratch some stuff out. Matt, babe, it'll work out".

    "They like each other, correct?".

    "Blair has liked him for a year now" I started, Matt began to nod his head in a way of showing he was listening. "In my perspective, I believe our Blair has a chance with him if she continues to show her true self and feelings for him. I see the way he looks at her and I can tell that there may be something. That's why I hope this song helps them realize that".

    "You really are the best person" Matt smiles, and kisses my forehead. "You and Bailey are the number one Jlair shippers I've ever known".

    "That's right we are! It's gonna happen, trust me".

     "What's the song called?".

     I look down at my papers, I had many title names but one stood out the most. "Hopefully if I don't change it, it's called, In Between".
