I leaned back into the room, holding back a laugh. Sam clearly wasn't impressed, but Dean on some level was happy about the car being destroyed. I stepped back into the room, and felt that the blood coming from my nostril stopped.
"He's gone," Cas's voice echoed from behind, meaning he had appeared back into the room. I turned on the spot, seeing him unharmed and not a single cut on him.
"Cas, who was that guy?" Sam voiced his concern.
"A soldier of Raphael," Cas states, but he was now in the small kitchen in the room, and began to search the cupboards for something. "He must have followed me when I answered your call," he find a bowl in one of the cupboards.
"Raphael? The Archangel?"
"Who else?" I shot at Sam, our eyes meeting for a brief moment, as it was obvious who the angel was on about.
"I'm sorry, what's going on here?" Sam disregarded my comment, and focused his attention back to Cas.
"I can explain later. Right now we have to –"
"No, not later, now," Dean cuts off Cas and stops him from walking past us. "Stop, all right? Too many angels, Cas! I don't know who's on first, what's on second," Dean was annoyed that he did not have all the information on what was happening.
"What is 'second'," Cas was playing the virgin angel - who didn't know anything about the human race.
"Don't start that," Dean saw right through him, as they stared off.
"It is simple – Raphael and his followers, they want him to rule Heaven. I – and many others – the last thing we want is to let him take over. It would be catastrophic," Cas was all serious, as his eyes never left that of Dean's.
"You're talking civil war," Sam announces, bringing Cas's attention to him.
"Technically, yes... Which is why we have to find Balthazar and his weapons before Raphael does," Cas walks past Dean, and heads over to the bed as our eyes follow him. "Whoever has the weapons wins the war," he states while dragging up Sam's duffel bag from under the bed.
"Help yourself," Sam remarks.
"And what happens if Raphael wins? What – What does he want?" Dean asks the big important questions.
"What he's always wanted – to end the story the way it was written," Cas replies, meaning that Raphael was an Apocalypse enthusiast.
"You mean the apocalypse, the one that we derailed?" Dean briefly cast his gaze to both Sam and I, including us in this.
"Yes. That one," Cas stopped digging around in the duffel bag, finally finding what he was looking for. "Raphael wants to put it back on the rails," the mention of it just sent chills down my spine. I couldn't deal with the whole alldeal once again. The memories it was just bringing up right now thinking about it.
