A daughter's heart breaks in silence,
As her parents fail to see,
The pain she hides so fiercely,
And the hurt that runs so deep.
Her mind, a tumultuous ocean,
A storm that rages within,
As she cries for help and solace,
But finds no comfort from them.
Their eyes are blind to her struggles,
Their hearts, closed off and cold,
And she's left to face her demons,
All alone, so frail and old.
She longs for understanding,
And a simple, loving touch,
But all she finds is emptiness,
As their words cut her so much.
Her spirit, battered and broken,
She tries to hold on tight,
To the hope that someday, somehow,
Her parents will see the light.
But for now, she weeps in silence,
As she bears this heavy load,
And her heart aches with the knowledge,
That she's lost her childhood home
