*********************************Y/N's POV*****************************************************
It had bee a couple of days since I had come undone at Mark's hands and confessed my deepest fears. We had seen each other during my lunch break and after work each day. Now Mark had our weekend all planned out.
I had tried to live in the moment like we agreed, trying to ignore that niggle at the back of my mind. I realised I was turning into my insecure ex, which created a new fear in me that Mark would get sick of my insecurities too. I didn't plan on telling him that.
I was laying in bed, the sun shining through a crack in my curtains as I started to wake up. I rolled over and retrieved my phone from the bedside table to text Mark,
Y/N >Morning xx<
MS >Morning love xx<
MS >Ready for a weekend full of surprises?xx< he replied
Y/N >Nervous xx<
MS >Why?<
Y/N >I never know what to expect with you xx<
MS >Isn't that half of the appeal?xx<
Y/N >Of course xx<
MS >Be ready in an hour xx<
MS >Pack a bag xx<
Y/N >What do I need?xx<
MS >Just an overnight bag xx<
MS > and swimwear xx<
Y/N >Swimwear? Now I'm intrigued xx<
MS >I'll put you out of your misery soon enough xx<
Y/N >See you soon xx<
MS > See you soon darling xx<
MS >I love you xx<
Y/N >I love you xx<
Swimwear? that narrowed down the options of where he could be taking me.
I did as I was told and was waiting by the front door with an overnight bag when he arrived.
"Here, let me" he called, jumping out of his car and rushing to grab my bags.
"I can manage" I giggled,
"I know" he smiled "but just let me" I allowed him to take the bag from me but kept hold of the handle, using it to pull him toward me to I could plant a sweet kiss on his lips.
"Hi" I giggled
"Hello" he grinned and took my hand, walking me round to the passenger side of his car so that he could get the door for me.
"Are you going to tell me where we are going now?" I asked as he climbed in the driver seat.
"Not yet" he laughed "It's a surprise"
"Your surprises give me anxiety" I teased, I was already nervous at the prospect at spending a whole weekend together. We had only really spent a few hour here and there since he came back to the UK. Also the fact I had an overnight bag packed, I was sure we would be sharing a room, and we hadn't slept together yet. Not even before he went away.
We had been driving for about 40 minutes when he turned into a car park. I didn't recognise the surrounding area.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"You'll see" he teased, enjoying the suspense.
I climbed out of the car just as he rushed to open my door.
