A/n
Ik I mentioned briefly that Ravens "birdself" couldn't talk to her.

But I totally changed my mind lol, and edited the second chapter.
It can speak in her head just a little now lol.

Raven hummed to herself walking through the junkyard on the beach. It was a few hours before her friends usually show up so her being in human form was alright for now.

She squatted down on flat feet by her small pile of collected treasures and picked them up. She carefully brushed off each piece before setting them in her pouch.
"H-hey... Wait..."
She jumped up and spun around with a small squeak, hiding the pouch behind her back.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!"
Midoriya said putting his hands out. Raven flinched back.
'Crap.'
She thought.
'Fly away?'
The bird in her lightly suggested.

"Oh... T-thats okay!"
Raven said with a smile.

"Sorry but... That stuff isn't yours..."
He said pointing at the treasure.

Raven tilted her head.
"Yes it is."
She stated holding it up.
"I collected it."

"No... Pokey did."
He said shaking his head.
"Please put it back."

'Oh yeah...'
Midoriya thought these things belonged to a bird.
'yep! Mine!'
Her bird or rather "Pokey" chirped in her head.
"No... ours."
Raven mumbled under her breath.

"What?"

"Nothing! Just uh... Thinking."
She stammered.

"Well can you please put the stuff back?"
He asked, it was stupid that he was defending a bird's pile of junk from a random cute girl. But pokey felt like an actual friend to him for some odd reason, and Midoriya didn't have many friends.

"Well.... No?"
She said, putting it in her bag.

Midoriya looked sad.
"Oh... T-thats okay..."
He said nervously.

This girl was pretty, she had big brown eyes with long lashes and a sunkissed round face.
He didn't really want to be rude over a few pieces of trash.

"Are you upset?"
She asked, stepping to the side and sitting down in her normal spot.

"Uh... N-no! No I'm not!"
He said with a nervous laugh.
'Oh she's staying... WAIT A GIRLS TALKING TO ME-'
"Yeah definitely not!"
He laughed a little more.

She giggled and he immediately blushed.
"You're kinda funny Midoriya."
She said.

He blinked.
"Wait... Did I tell you my name?"
He asked, who was this girl?

"YOUNG MIDORIYA!!"
All might said, jumping over a bit of wreckage but he stopped and sweat dropped at the sight of raven.
"And... Friend?"
He asked nervously.

"Hi All Might!"
Raven said with a smile.

Midoriya and All Might shared a glance.
That wasn't a normal reaction to seeing a celebrity, she acted as if they were close friends. Not complete strangers.
"Ur- hello... Friend of Midoriya?"
He struggled.

'Yes! friend!'
Pokey cheered

Midoriya shrugged from his own sitting position.
"Uh... Actually we just met?"

'Aw...'

"No!"
Raven said with a smile.

"Uh... No?"
Midoriya asked.

"I'm Pokey!"
She told him and he frowned.

"Actually... Pokey is a bird?"
He clarified. He said Pokey earlier, maybe she thought it was a person and wanted to lie to all might about it?
But that didn't make much sense.

"Yes I know that."
Raven rolled her eyes and then shifted.
Her skin turned darker and darker till it was black, her face quickly changed shape and in seconds and soon was a beautiful black bird.

She let out her usual deep caw and flew towards All Mights shoulder.

"Holy shit..."
Midoriya mumbled.
"Tell me everything about your quirk!"
He said jumping up and down.

She dropped and shifted into a human again.
"You mean you're not mad?"
She asked tilting her head.

"Why would I be mad?"
Midoriya asked with a frown.

"B-because I didn't tell you guys I was a human... And I know your secrets too."
She shrunk away, suddenly nervous that they were going to get angry at her for messing up.
A big hand landed on her shoulder and she flinched.
'fly away!'

"That's alright Young Pokey!"
Small might said, now in his deflated form.
"There's no harm done."
He told her and she looked up at him in shock.
That's it?

"Yeah! So... What's your actual name?"
Midoriya asked with a kind smile.

"Raven, but Pokey is fine too."
She smiled brightly.

"Just Raven?"
All might asked.

She smiled a closed eyed smile.
"Yep."
