Where raven went doesn't matter really. She came back home in time to see the door shut and locked by Bakugou as she expected. She slipped through Midoriya's window because she knew it would be unlocked.

Bakugou had left hours ago, he'd taken home the item his father had left behind the other night. It was the whole reason he was even here in the first place.
His mind was still thinking about Raven and her now obvious quirk. Of course it had something to do with Fucking birds. How did he not even guess that?

Her quirk was actually rare, shapeshifting quirks weren't common in this area and hers only made him more interested in her.
'Is it just Ravens? Or could it be anything?'
He thought to himself, sitting at his desk with a pen between his fingers.
He was supposed to be finishing up the last homework assignment of the semester. Of the year and the last assignment he'll have in middle school.
But he was interested in that, he was thinking of the mysterious girl that was staying with his least favorite person ever.

Why did it have to be Midoriya? That wimp?
"He said that... You weren't a... That you weren't a good g-guy..."
Stupid Deku, why did he have to tell Raven shit like that. He doubted that he told her anything specific though. From her reaction he was sure she'd told him everything.
He smirk a little, she'd been cute. He didn't like how nervous she'd been, but that was his fault really. He knew he'd been intimidating her, but he just wanted to know what Deku had said to her about him and she was being stubborn about it.

That skinny nerd will regret saying anything about him to Raven.

........

"Hey I'm home."
Midoriya walked in after the sun set.
He set a few bags of groceries he'd gotten on his way home from training.
"My Mom is going to be working late tonight so it'll be just us... Are you okay?"
He stopped talking when he saw raven laying on the couch, curled up under a blanket.

She didn't seem cheery at all at the moment. She stared forward, she didn't even seem to be watching the cartoons on the tv. She didn't seem to be listening to him.
"Raven?"
He called and she moved a little bit under the blanket.

"hm?"
She mumbled back, not looking up.
Izuku walked over and sat on the edge of the couch, by her feet.

"What's wrong?"
He asked, she glanced up.
She pulled herself up and smiled brightly.

"Nothing!"
She said before giving him a hug.
"What time is Mrs Inko coming home?"

"Raven..."
Midoriya whispered, looking at her with a sad expression.

"Huh?"
She tilted her head to the side.

"Please tell me, it will help. Don't pretend nothing is wrong."
Midoriya told her and her smile faded a little.

"Uh... Bakugou came over while you guys were gone..."
She admitted quietly.

Izuku grabbed her shoulders gently.
"Did he hurt you?"
He asked with obvious concern.

"Well no..."
She said, he didn't do anything really. So why was she uneasy and upset after that interaction?

"But he made you uncomfortable."
Izuku guessed and she nodded.

"But that's silly! I'm just worked up over nothing really!"
She laughed nervously.
"I'll get over it!"

"Raven tell me what happened. Did... I-I'm sorry if this is inappropriate but... Did he touch you?"
He blushed and looked away. That was a stupid question right?

Raven frowned and looked at him in slight confusion.
"Well... Yeah? A few times."
She said flatly.

"Well no I mean.. In a -uh Way that.. Made you uncomfortable! A way that you didn't like?"
He clarified.

Raven thought for a moment.
"I mean, I guess? But I don't like it when any stranger touches me."
She shrugged.

"Okay nevermind, how about you just tell me what happened? Why was he here?"
She obviously wasn't getting what he was implying and he didn't want to ask if it was sexual blatantly.

"Well... I actually don't know, he didn't tell me. He just came in and asked if you were here. But he called you "Deku" which is like a nickname right?"
Raven asked and Midoriya nodded. Yeah, a nickname he hated.

"And then I told him you weren't and... Well he started asking why I was acting weird because I guess I was kinda nervous around him. He... He got weirdly close to me and kept asking so I... I told him what you said to make him stop it and then I fell down and he caught me."
Raven explained.

Izuku gulped.
"You... You uh... Told him?"
He asked and Ravens eyes widened.

"I'm sorry! D-did I do some bad?!"
She asked with intense worry.
Not just worry, it actually looked like fear.

"No! No you didn't! It's my fault I probably shouldn't have said those things to you..."
He mumbled. He should have know she might not think to keep it quiet.

"Because... Because you couldn't trust me..."
Raven said dejected.
"I messed up didn't I?"
She asked staring at the blanket below her.
She'd had a bad feeling about telling Bakugou in the first place but she did it anyway.

"You're selfish and lazy!"

"No! Hey Raven it's okay! It's not your fault you didn't know..."
Midoriya said gently as he realized how upset she was getting. He put a hand on her shoulder, he felt her tense under his touch and then relax again slowly.

"But I did... I thought that maybe I shouldn't tell him but I did it anyway! I'm a bad person."
She mumbled.

"No, Raven he was making you uncomfortable and was harassing you for answers. It's not your fault alright? What he did was wrong."
He said, she kept staring at the couch. She actually seemed disassociated. Like she wasn't listening, like she wasn't mentally there.
He watched as silent tears rolled down her pink cheeks.

What Izuku found disturbing was the fact that other than the tears he couldn't tell she was crying. Her face was still and no noise escaped her lips. Her whole body didn't move or Tremble.

'Why not?'
He thought. Why wouldn't she cry like normal? Why was she completely locked down? It was eerie and beautiful. But something felt wrong about it.

He reached forward and cupped her face.
"It's okay to cry."
He said, trying to pull her back into reality.

Her eyes slowly looked up and locked with his.
"Sorry."
She whispered.

"Where did you go?"
Izuku asked with a sweet smile.

"I... I don't know."
She mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
"I just do that sometimes... When I'm upset or when..."
She looked off.
"When I'm upset."
She said again, not saying what she was clearly thinking about.

"That's alright."
Izuku said, he was going to research about it more but he was pretty sure that this sort of disassociating was a trauma response.

When Raven thought he was mad at her she seemed to mentally pull away.
'Is she scared of me?'
He thought while talking to her kindly.
He figured it wasn't him in particular, she'd just had a lot of bad experiences with a lot of people. So she assumed his reaction to being upset with her actions would be the same.
'Who hurt her?'
Izuku thought as he reached forward and pulled her into a protective embrace.
He knew it was likely her family, there was more too that then she told him. They hurt her so she ran away.

"Izuku?"
Raven mumbled against his chest.

"Yeah?"
He said, leaning back and pulling her with him. She put up no fight and pulled herself up, making herself comfortable in this position.

"Why can't I cry like normal?"
She whispered and Izuku felt tears of his own brew up.

Raven was lost and confused.

He could only assume her trauma started at a young age. He figured she didn't understand it or understand what happened to her. There was a possibility that she didn't even remember it. The she disassociated during the hardest parts.
He wanted to help but he felt so useless in doing so.

"I... I don't know Raven. But it's okay."
He stroked her hair.
"It'll all be okay, you're safe now."
