"It's a little... Fanboyish..."
He mumbled, opening the door to his extreme All might themed room.
There were several All Might figurines on shelves over his desk and bed. He had a lot of books everywhere too, they were in piles by his desk and on the table by his bed.

Posters of all might and American themed curtains around his windows.
The room was small, especially with all this stuff in it. But Raven didn't even notice.
"Woah..."

"Yeah I know it's cringey-"

"Those are so cool!"
Raven jumped up to his shelves of all might figures. Midoriya smiled.

"I know right! This one is actually limited edition! There's only one hundred in all of Japan!"
He said holding one up.
Last time Kacchan was in his room all he did was groan and laugh at him. He told him how annoying and cringey his obsession was with all might. He complained about how cramped the room was and how his window only veiwed the wall of the apartment complex beside his own. Which is why the curtains were closed all the time.

But Raven was completely different. She was a good friend. Who didn't judge his Hobbys or living situation.
Probably because she was a little worse off than him, but she still didn't care about how he acted or what he liked to collect.
She understood him.
"Wow that's amazing! How did you get it?!"

She asked and he smiled, he liked being asked about this kinda stuff.
"Well it wasn't easy! I had to be at a store in a different district and camp outside the night before their release."
He mumbled.

"Hey what are these?"
She asked, gently picking up his notebooks. One of which was singed a lot from Bakugou's bullying. That also happened to be the same day he told him to commit sewer slide. But he wasn't about to tell her about that.

"They're uh... Notebooks, I like to write down stuff about heros and different quirks."
He said as she flipped through the pages.
She plopped herself down on his bed and he blushed a little.
This was actually the first time a girl that wasn't his mother has ever even entered his room and he was very nervous about it for some reason. It was just Raven right?

"Hey! Is this me?"
She asked getting to his most recent notebook.
He had taken a lot more time of the sketches, trying to do her justice even though he wasn't really an artist. There were also separate pictures of a Raven drawn in the corner nicely, it's head tilted curiously to the side.

"Oh uh... Y-Yeah! Yeah it is..."
He turned bright red and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"That's so cool!"
She gushed over his design.

"Well so is your quirk!"
He responded as Raven gently traced the sketches on the notebook paper. She chuckled a little bit.

"Honestly... I didn't want my quirk."
She whispered with a light smile. He looked at her in complete shock, his whole life he'd been quirkless and his whole life he'd been willing to do anything to get one.
Which is why for the past month he'd been lugging trash around a beach with a celebrity pro hero that was still kinda a stranger to him.

"What?! Why not? Why wouldn't you want your quirk?!"

Raven looked away, it was weird. She assumed that as a quirkless person Midoriya would understand why.

"It's a disease, you're defective."

"What you are is a mutant! It's disgusting."

"What the hell are you talking about?! You're a monster, you don't belong with 'normal' people!"

"Even with a quirk... You're still pathetic."

Raven shook the memories from her head and smiled at her friend.
"Nevermind! I guess I'm just being silly!"

"Raven-"
Midoriya mumbled in concern.

"Alright kids! Dinner is ready!"
Mrs Inko called from the kitchen/dining room

"Coming!"
Raven jumped up.
"Let's go!"
She waved him over as she left the room and he frowned, she kept on masking herself. Pretending that she was completely fine and a lot of the time it was believable.
He shook his head and walked out, he'd figure her out eventually. If everything went how he wanted she'd be staying with them for awhile.
