Chapter 7

Must've been a deadly kiss, only love can hurt like this

'You broke up with her?' his mother questioned.

'She broke up with me.' Aaron answered, annoyed and tired of...everything.

Fuck. He's turning into his uncle.

'Did she say why?'

Aaron shrugged, 'she just said it wasn't working out-'

'Did you try to convince her?'

'Mom, I don't want to force her to stay with me if she doesn't want to!' Aaron argued, already halfway into his bedroom.

'Aaron, that's not how we do things-'

'That's not how you do things!' He raised his voice, 'look, I'll try harder next time! Can you please just leave me alone right now? It's been a shitty day.'

His mother huffed, then turned on her heels and left. Aaron slammed his door shut.

In half a day, his entire life has been turned on its head.

His conversation with Elise helped him come to two major realizations:

He's bisexual

He might or might not be in love with Leo Hurston

He groaned and threw himself onto the bed. Filming for season 3 of Maroon starts next week, he is not ready to face anyone, and definitely not Leo.

He cursed as he buried his head in his hands.

'You should talk to him,' Elise said, taking a sip of her soda.

'Easier said than done.'

'You'd regret it if you didn't.'

Elise has been trying to convince him to tell Leo about the revelations he's come to, but he doesn't have the courage or energy to talk about that yet.

'Cut!' he heard Julian yell.

'You're up next,' Elise pushed him out of his chair, 'good luck!'

Aaron set his script down and walked up to the set, Leo was waiting for him there.

'Hey,' the blonde smiled, 'you okay?'

'Why wouldn't I be?'

Leo shrugged, 'you look nervous about something. I'm hoping it's not about the acting.'
