You can't hide behind those pretty hazel eyes, and say that everything's alright

My love, our world has split in two

Aaron sighed as he scrolled through his Instagram feed, there were pictures of Oscar and Amara at the premiere last night. In the posts, they were all smiling and laughing. The outside world didn't have to know about the fights and heartbreaks that went on behind the scenes.

There was a post from Elise. The first three pictures were of them as a group in front of the backdrop, the last one, was a picture of the two of them. Her arm's on his shoulder and he was holding her waist. He had posted a similar picture last night, it was to make sure others believed they were dating.

He liked it and scrolled up-Oh.

It was a post from Leo, a single photo.

A photo that Aaron took.

It was from their picnic three years ago, just when they finished filming season 2. Leo was playing with a sparkler, and the tiny lights illuminated his face and you can see the sparks reflected in his hazel eyes, alongside the mischievous glint that Aaron loves so much. You can see every detail of his face, his thin, long eyelashes, the tiny freckles dotting his nose, the slight shine on his lips from the drinks he had.

It was a perfect candid picture. One of Aaron's favorite photos he's ever taken.

Underneath that photo was a caption:

God I wish that you had thought this through, before I went and fell in love with you

It was directed at him, of course he was.

He scrolled away, he couldn't bring himself to like it.

Elise stirred her coffee, then blew on it and took a sip.

Her and Aaron were sitting in the café, eating cakes and sipping coffee. They walked all around the city, making sure they were seen by paparazzis or fans, wearing matching jean jackets and never letting go of the other's hand.

'I can't fucking do this,' Aaron said, burying his head in his hands.

Elise tapped his arm, 'you know people might still see us, right?'

Aaron sat up and rubbed his face with his hands, 'do you know what I realized?'

'About what?' Elise asked, her chin in the palm of her hand, unbothered, still stirring her coffee.

'You know that night, when I told Leo that I...' Aaron paused, 'well when I didn't say anything. It made me feel bad. Like...really bad.'
