I've loved you three summers now, honey, but I want 'em all

Aaron opened his eyes slowly, then moved to cover them from the sunlight shining through the curtains. He briefly wondered why they got curtains when it obviously didn't work.

Then he realized he wasn't in his room, and he was terrified for three seconds until he remembered.

Right, they've moved out.

He turned on his side and smiled at the sight. Leo was still asleep but he looked as beautiful as ever. His hair looked golden in the sun, his freckles evident on his face, his quiet snores music to Aaron's ears.

Yeah, they moved in together.

It had been nearly two years since what Elise calls "the opening of Pandora's closet", and the chaos that followed after that.

He wouldn't lie and say that it's been an easy two years, there were a lot of difficult times. Such as seeing his uncle again during the hearing for the restraining order, that was definitely unpleasant. There was also Alex who made a bunch of burner accounts to try and get Aaron to forgive him, he had to threaten to sue him to get him to stop. But honestly, he didn't really miss them as much as he expected to. And with Leo, it had been smooth sailing for the most of it, but there were times (two, to be exact) when they had been on the brink of a break-up. But they always found their way back to each other (with the help of Elise and Zachery).

Despite that, there were also a lot of good times. For example, all the news outlets reporting that Aaron Cardoner had filed the restraining order against his "biological family". The announcement and filming of season 4 of Maroon. A lot of parties and get-togethers and their annual Christmas celebrations. Kissing Leo on New Years and Valentines' Day, and anytime he could, really. Announcing their relationship on Instagram with a picture of them and a caption from Taylor Swift's London Boy (So I guess all the rumors are true. You know I love a London boy. Boy, I fancy you). Finally being able to kiss Leo and go on dates in public.

And of course, moving in with Leo.

The blonde groaned as he grabbed a pillow to cover his eyes, '...close the curtains...'

'They are closed,' Aaron smiled.

Leo cursed as he sat up and rubbed his eyes, 'those are some useless fucking curtains.'

'I know,' Aaron said.

Leo raised an eyebrow and chuckled, 'why do you keep looking at me?'

'Because I love you,' Aaron answered, 'why else?'

Leo laughed as he leaned forward to peck Aaron's lips.

'What do you want for breakfast?' Aaron asked.

Leo moved to answer, but Aaron beat him to it, 'and don't say me.'

They both laughed as Leo tackled him with kisses and decided on cereal. And as they left for the kitchen, a brief thought passed through Aaron's mind.

No amount of money could buy this happiness.
