And baby, for you, I would fall from grace, just to touch your face

If you walk away, I'd beg you on my knees to stay

Elise opened the door to her apartment and the two of them hurried inside. Aaron fell onto the couch and buried his head in his hands.

In the span of ten minutes, he had fucked up his life entirely. And getting disowned by his family wasn't even the worst part. It was the fact that his good-for-nothing cousin had livestreamed the whole thing and now it was getting shared everywhere in the world.

Elise sighed as she sat down next to him, 'are you okay?'

Aaron shrugged.

He didn't know. Yes, he got disowned by his family, but he was actually kind of relieved by that. On the car ride to Elise's apartment, they've decided that they should get a restraining order against his uncle.

He was more worried about the media, and their fans and the world, in general.

The phone rang, Aaron wasn't sure whether it was his or Elise's phone, he didn't want to talk to anyone, really.

Well, that's not entirely true.

'It's Zachery,' Elise said, standing up to take the call, 'hello?'

Aaron didn't move from his position, but he heard snippets of their conversation: 'Yeah, he's with me...I don't know...Yeah...Thanks.'

'He saw the livestream,' Elise explained.

'Everyone saw the livestream,' Aaron muttered.

'Not everyone,' Elise said.

He looked up at her, an eyebrow raised.

'What do I do?' Aaron asked, distressed.

'You can stay with me,' Elise offered, 'I have a guest bedroom.' The apartment they're in is her apartment, she (technically her parents since she was underage) bought one since she didn't want to keep living with them and her younger sister. When she held a house-warming party, Aaron had silently wished that he could move out of his house like she did.

Seems his wish got granted.

'So,' Elise continued, 'wanna be roommates?'

'I can't ask you to do that,' Aaron muttered.

'You didn't ask,' Elise said, wrapping an arm around him, 'I'm offering.'

Tears welled up in his eyes, 'thank you.'

'We haven't eaten yet,' Elise changed the topic, 'do you want pizza?'
