CHAPTER 16: Harm

Nagi - 18 Years Old

My heart aches, what the fuck have I done. I stared down at my phone, seeing the red letters of "blocked" under her name. I took a shuddering breath and closed my eyes, willing myself not to cry.

"Fuck. What have I done.." I whispered hoarsely.

"What needed to be done" Mira's voice rang through the office. I nodded and she laid a hand on my shoulder.

"You know this is for the best Nagi, she was a distraction. That's why you kept ending up here, the guys know what buttons to press" she stated.

"It hurts so much" I said while my eyes teared.

She hugged me and rubbed my back while I let my tears flow freely, I just didn't realize someone was watching through the window.

Days later and I continued to try to come to terms with what I did, Isagi tried to understand why I did it but in the end he felt sorry for me.

"Why not just call her?" he asked in our room. Everyone has been giving me wide berth because of my attitude lately. I'm one look away from murder and everyone knew it.

"Because the things I said" I closed my eyes, "she'll never forgive me"

"Where did you even come up with all that? You're not one to be cruel, Nagi" he looked at me with confused eyes.

I sighed, "Mira" he reared back.

"Mira?! What do you mean?"

"She told me what to say" I told him.

His mouth dropped and his face turned hard, "Why the fuck does Mira have a hand in this? More importantly, what the fuck were you thinking listening to her??"

My brows furrowed, "She made me realize that y/n was a distraction.. she helped me break it off"

"You're a goddamn idiot" he looked at me with a face of disgust. "You asked another woman to help you break things off with the supposed 'love of your life'?"

"What was I suppose to do?!"

He clenched his jaw, "You fucking talk to her! Are you serious right now Nagi?!"

"It wouldn't have made a difference, what's done is done." I murmured, looking down.

Isagi stood up and shook his head at me, his face dripping in disappointment, "that was a shitty thing to do Nagi, I hope you're happy knowing that she may never forgive you for this" I closed my eyes and winced. Before he walked out the door he turned to me, "I hope listening to Mira" he face sneered saying her name, "was worth losing y/n over." then continuing out the door.

I let the tears fall silently before putting myself together and making my way to the bathroom to bathe. When I entered, Isagi, Chigiri, Barou and Kunigami was already soaking so I joined them. In the middle of me screwing with Barou, I heard a voice from behind me.

"You're a piece of shit Nagi."

I turned, coming face to face with Reo and I stiffened, I knew it was a matter of time before he found out. The guys around us looked with confusing faces, except Isagi, he still looked disappointed.

"Its funny. I didn't want to believe my eyes when I saw you and Mira hugging in her office" the room gasped and I stiffened more.

"But when y/n called me to let me know you broke up with her over text message" he shook his head, "I understood what I saw for what it was, that you're nothing but a piece of shit" he finished.

"What the fuck Nagi, are you serious?!" Kunigami stood up with his fists clenched.

"Grade A, dick move." Chigiri shook his head. I ignored him and continued to look at Reo.

"Nothing to say?" Reo asked, "Alright. You will stay the fuck away from her when we get out. You go anywhere near her, talk to her or even think about her, I will end you Nagi." he seethed.

He chuckled sadly, "I hope all of this was worth it, because this is all you will have left. An amazing career playing professionally? Sure. But it'll be a sad lonely life because you won't have anyone to come home to." he turned and walked away.

"A text message?! Really?!" Kunigami said with disgust and my hands balled into first.

"No." Barou pointed at my fists, "You don't get to get mad, you want to act like a peasant? Lay down with the rest of them and live with it." he got out of the water.

Chigiri followed mumbling what sounded like 'fucking idiot' and Kunigami followed as well. I took a breath then stiffened again when I felt the water move.

"We all loved y/n, so hearing what you did will make all of us mad" he sighed, "but you're our friend too. They're mad now because we didn't expect you to ever do this, it's a surprise and it'll take time before that goes away" he placed his hand on my shoulder and squeezed.

"Just don't do anything stupid Nagi, i'd hate for all of this become a waste"

I sat in the tub going over everything that happened for the past few days. Hopefully in the future you'll know and understand why I did what I did. I dunked my head and screamed. I just pray to God she'll hear me out..
