REQUESTED @idiotfromclowntown. Hope you enjoy this one shot!

A/N: Before you all start reading, I am remaking the book "H a p p y P i l l s" by Ciel who was the original writer! They gave me consent to rewrite it and so I finally have that! There is also another story that I am making that includes music! I will put the link to both of these stories in the comment section here! So read those too and enjoy this story! ------------------>

3rd POV

"Agh!" Shrieked Golf Ball. Tennis Ball was reading a book before he heard the shrieks of Golf Ball. He runs over to where Golf Ball was to find her sitting on the ground. Her leg had a ginormous gash in it. He also noticed the side of her was chipped and cracked. She also had her metal visor on. The look of pain she had on was painfully obvious.

She was in front of a somewhat short anvil with a piece of scrap metal. A sharp edge of the metal was pointed toward Golf Ball and a hammer was placed beside Golf Ball along with some terrible blueprints from someone.

"What're you doing, Golf Ball? Are you okay?" Tennis Ball asked. Golf Ball stood up, stumbling on her clean leg before limping towards the hammer. She picks up the hammer and struggled walking towards the anvil. She then spits out the hammer onto the anvil and inspects the metal on the anvil. Nervously, Tennis Ball pushes Golf Ball away from the dangerously close metal.

"Be careful. Why are you even working on something this dangerous?" Tennis Ball asked. Golf Ball rolls her eyes.

"Because it was a commission for someone. I need the money for more of our inventions..." Golf Ball responded angrily. Tennis Ball sighs before turning Golf Ball towards him.

"GB. We don't need the money for it. We can ask Two for some scrap metal if we need any..."

"His metal's weird. I don't like using that one."

"Well it's better than trying to scavenge for money only for a big piece of it..." Tennis Ball stated. Golf Ball huffs before silently agreeing.

"...Let's go to the first aid room." Tennis Ball said. He gently grabs GB's gashed leg and walks her towards the First Aid center. He gently lays her on the blanket and walks towards the cabinet. He opens it and grabs a couple of wraps and healing ointment before closing it and walking back to Golf Ball.

He puts the bottle between his feet and used his mouth to open the bottle. Once he managed to do so, he pushes the bottle to the side and grabs Golf Ball's leg. Golf Ball blushes at the contact.

"I can do this myself..." Golf Ball mumbled. Tennis Ball looks up before smiling softly.

"Well, you could. But then what would I do..?" Tennis Ball commented. Golf Ball puffs out her cheeks and averts her eyes with a red face.

"...fine." Golf Ball agreed. Tennis Ball shifts forward to kiss Golf Ball's forehead.

"Thanks, hun." Tennis Ball said after grabbing Golf Ball's leg.

"This'll hurt..."

"I know, stupid." Golf Ball responded. Tennis Ball puts the bottle in his mouth and a paper ball on his feet. He slowly pours the liquid onto the paper. After a dollop of liquid was added, Tennis Ball puts the ointment to the side and grips the paper ball. He slowly puts the paper on her wound.

Golf Ball hisses in pain, not realizing how badly her wound could've gotten infected. After a few seconds of dabbing the excess blood away, Tennis ball places the paper ball on the side and grabbed the wrap. He slowly wraps Golf Ball's gash with it and tied it up afterward.

"Done." Tennis Ball said. Golf Ball was about to get up but was stopped.

"Golf Ball. You still have more gashes. Stay here and rest while I wrap you..." Tennis Ball said. He looks her up and down only to realize where her cracks and chipped areas were.

"Uhm..." Tennis Ball averts his eyes from Golf Ball. She huffed before looking away. She felt her face heat up in embarrassment.

"You can...I trust you..." Golf Ball said. Tennis Ball smiles.

"Are you sure..?"

"Yes...hurry up already before I change my mind..!" Golf Ball shouted. Tennis Ball nodded nervously. He grabs a new paper ball and added more ointment before swiping the ball on Golf Ball's body.

"Sorry, beb..." Tennis Ball said. Golf Ball whines a little from the pain. Tennis Ball winces in response. He couldn't see Golf Ball in pain. It breaks his heart. Once the area was cleaned, Tennis Ball grabbed more of the bandage wrap and wrapped Golf Ball's body with her cooperation and consent.

"All done!" Tennis Ball smiled. He looks at Golf Ball with a sympathetic look. He looks back outside of the First Aid room.

"I'll finish the rest of the commission. Just tell me what they want, and I'll be careful." Tennis Ball said. Golf Ball huffs.

"I'm not letting you do it since you were the one who originally said it was dangerous." Golf Ball remarked. Tennis Ball chuckled.

"First, you are a lot shorter than the anvil, you could've hurt yourself some more. Second, you had three wounds on your body. From what I remember, you could lose several liters of blood if you kept them open. Lastly, even if you did manage to stay awake, they would've gotten infected." Tennis Ball stated. He goes up to GB and kisses her on the lips.

"I don't need my smart girlfriend starting the apocalypse." Tennis Ball said. The two stay quiet. They silently stared at each other with a look of love, safety, trust, and loyalty.

"You...are so damn nerdy..." Golf Ball said. Tennis Ball stays silent before bursting out in laughter.

"You're right, I am!" Tennis Ball exclaimed. Golf Ball joined her boyfriend in the laughter. The two eventually calmed down from their laughing moment and look at each other.

"You're still not doing it, TB. You could get hurt, I am too weak to help you, and the commission's due tomorrow night." Golf Ball stated. Tennis Ball smirks playfully.

"You callin' it a date?" He so-casually said. Golf Ball rolls her eyes.

"Sure, whatever. Go and assume that." Golf Ball said. Tennis Ball smiles at her playfulness.

The two can argue, sure. But it's these moments that bring them together, like bandages and a wound.
