Abduction ♤ Hayes Grier

•FOUR•

I woke up to Hayes slightly shaking me awake.

"What?" I asked in a raspy voice "It's time to get up and go." He said "Hayes, just lemme sleep a little more." I mumbled

I heard him groan in annoyance "Cmon. You can sleep in the car." He said and I still didn't move "Danica." He started shaking me awake "Come on, it's time to go." He took the covers off of me.

"Hayes, just leave me here." "We have to go. The faster you get up, the faster we get to LA." "I don't wanna go."

I heard him sigh and walk away from the bed. I took that as my chance to pull the covers back over me, but they were gone.

I put my knees up to my chest to keep warm only for them to be pulled away from my chest.

I felt him slipping on my sweatpants then my shoes.

"Hayes." I whined "Yes?" "What are you doing?" "Getting you ready." He said "But I'm comfortable." I whined

"You can sleep in the car." I felt him pull me by my legs and he picked me up, so my legs were wrapped around his torso and my arms were wrapped around his neck.

After he checked us out and everything he walked us out to the car and put me in the passenger seat of the car then got into his side and started the car.

We drove the whole entire day. We drove through cities, the Superb areas, mountains, countryside areas, etc.

It was honestly kind of relaxing and fun, too, because Hayes and I got to know each other better.

It's 9:07 and thunder-storming. Hayes and I were both pretty hungry since we ate breakfast at 11:00.

There were literally no parking spaces at the McDonalds parking lot, so he parked in the Walmart parking lot across the street.

We both ran over and were soaked by the time we got in there, so we both laughed about it.

Once we ordered our food and everything we sat down at a table since we weren't in any hurry, and we were just going to a hotel after this.

There were three men all dressed in black, and they were pretty buff guys. They looked like they could all be security guards.

Hayes tensed up a little "Danica, give me your glasses right now." He demanded.

I took off my glasses and handed them to him and he swiftly put them on.

Hayes took a bite out of his burger and tried to act natural, but my back was turned to the door, so I didn't know what was going on, but Hayes' eyes followed their every move.

When I looked over they were all sitting down at a table.

"Danica, we have to leave. Now. They're after both of us." He said and we both started to get up.

We both kept our heads down, and once we got to the door the men started to stand up and leave too.

By this point I felt nauseous.

Once we got out of the door he whispered to me, "We can't go to the car. We have to run now." He said and started to walk faster "What?!"

I heard faint footsteps behind us and a man yell, "Hey!" Hayes grabbed my hand and started to run, practically dragging me behind him.

I heard the footsteps behind us get faster and heavier.

We turned a sharp corner and ran into a dark alley. There was a Forrest behind the alley, so Hayes and I ran deep in the woods.

After a few minutes it was pitch black. I could hear and feel raindrops, but I knew that outside of the Forrest it was pouring.

I could hear crunching leaves and the men's harsh, hoarse voices.

I felt my wrist get Yankee forward, so I let out a small shriek, and my mouth was quickly covered up.

"Shh." He said quietly then slowly took his hand away and slowly guided me through the dark woods.

He sat us down in a bush, "Don't move." He whispered.

A few minutes later I heard the men's footsteps and saw flashlight lights. I couldn't breathe.

There were a pair of old, torn up, black boots right in front of me and I instantly knew we would get caught.

"Cmon! They're here somewhere!" I heard a man's deep, harsh voice yell

The man walked away from us and over to the other men.

I was about to faint.

That was so close.
