• Story centred around a girl who is arrested for murder because a strand of hair with her DNA is found at the crime scene
• Revealed that its actually from a wig made from hair she donated for women with cancer

• Old lady murdered called Tabitha Brown
• Cops arrive at the door, Main Character (MC) is confused as they ask her questions about what she was doing Tuesday 30th April between 5-10pm.
• "Ooh, you mean the night before last? Well I studied until 6pm then got take out and chilled with a bath, book and chocolate"
• "Can anyone corroborate this?"
• "Uh, no, cause I was home alone, as I just said."
• "So..." he knitted his eyebrows fiercely, "let me get this right. You have an alibi, but no one to witness it?"
• "Alibi? Sheesh. You're making it sound like I murdered someone or something - why are you asking me all these questions anyway? Was there a break in or something in the neighbourhood?"
• "Well, yes. We do have good reason to believe that you were at a crime scene... at the exact time of the- ah- murder."
• "WHAT!?"
• "I don't suppose dogs count as witnesses do they?" He shook his head, I sighed, "that's what I thought..."
• We stood in silence for a moment before I remembered what could be my saving grace, "Wait, Dave from Uber Eats can tell you! I got pizza at around 7pm ish."
• "Oh really? What kind was it?"
• "Oh, well, not pizza exactly, but Garlic bread, potato bites, a Hershey's cookie pizza, and a coke from Pizza Hut."
• "... you ordered from a pizza place but didn't actually buy any pizza?" He paused, pen hovering above the paper and wavering in disbelief.
• "Yup..."
• "Seems legit."

• "What is your relationship with Tabitha Brown?"
• "Who?"
• "The murder suspect."
• "Oh. No, the name doesn't ring a bell. Sorry. Would you mind please describing her?"
• "[Old lady]."
• "Oh, wait, there is a Tabby, sweet old lady, who lives down the road, but I'm fairly certain her last name is Braithwate, not Brown."

• "Ma'am." The officer was beginning to look exasperated with me, "I'm going to need you to come down to the station with me."
• "What? Ugh, fine. Can I please just feed Rudy first?"
• "Rudy?"
• "My dog. Please. It'll be quick and I promise I won't do a runner or whatever if you're worried about that."
• He raised an eyebrow at his colleague, and, after a moment, sighed, "fine."
• "Rudy!" I called, so that they could see that I wasn't making this dog up, "Rudy, sweetheart. It's fine pumpkin, the scary- uh- I mean big- no, STRONG- I mean strong men won't hurt you." He slunk into view, shivering nervously as he eyed the two men.
• "What in hells name is THAT?"
• "He's a Chinese Crested who's been badly abused and in need of Tender Loving Care and NOT cutting remarks about his appearance, thank you very much." I said, picking him up and sweeping away to feed him.

• At the station she asks for a phone call to her Mum
• Almost has a panic attack at the station

• Story follows her with 10 days bail trying to track down the real killer - who turns out to be a recipient of Love Locks hair wig made for women with cancer from hair donated by MC
• She is relieved when she finds out that she hadn't been framed, but that her implication was purely accidental

• The woman who had put my life through hell and back just raised an eyebrow and smiled lazily, "Sorry honey, I didn't mean to involve a sweet soul like you in all this."
• "Sorry? SORRY!? I GOT ARRESTED FOR FREAKING MURDER" I screamed.
