Another story idea
• A girl called Allison writes a letter to her future husband only to find a reply on the next page of her notebook which begins with “Dear Wife / Past Wife / Future Wife” responding to her letter.
• The replies are either actually from the future husband or from the boy who will become her husband
• Story starts with her sister suggesting the idea of writing letters to her figure husband when Allison is lamenting the lack of love in her life (never dated or been kissed, unlike most of the girls in her grade)
• Allison wants the notebook to be special so she gets a nice one from a stall of which an old lady is the owner
• The old lady  gives her a magical book and had given a matching one to her future husband.

Excerpt:

"I feel that this notebook would suit you quite well." The old woman said as she held forth a beautiful notebook bound in emerald green leather, gesturing for me to take it.
I tenderly grasped it, holding it in my hands.

"Oh..." I breathed, taking in the stunning design.
It almost felt as though, touching this book, that it made my heart warm. But that was silly I knew.

The lady seemed pleased,
"You like it then?"

I looked at her with a smile,
"Oh yes. It's beautiful!"

Then, giving it back to her, I turned and rummaged in my bag, looking for my purse,
"I'll take it. How much is it?"

"Oh no dear, think of it as a gift."
"A gift?" I gasped, "oh no, I couldn't possibly."

She smiled and nodded,
"I insist."

I anxiously shook my head,
"Oh no, I must pay you for it. You must have spent a lot of time and effort making it. I couldn't possibly accept it for free."

I pulled out my purse and, glancing around and seeing a wooden sign on the stand stating the price, I pulled out the $20 and gently pressed it into the kind lady's hand,
"Thank you for the offer, it is very kind, but I do feel that you should get something for your beautiful work."

The lady beamed at me,
"Very well then. I can't argue with such a polite lady such as yourself now can I?"

Then, she turned and, tucking the $20 note into her pocket, she wrapped the beautiful book and placed it into a brown paper bag and handed it to me,
"Here you go dearly."
I clutched it to my chest,
"Thank you. Have a lovely day."

"You too." Was her cheery response.
Then, with a small wave, I left the kind stall owner.

3rd Person P.O.V
The old woman watched the teenage girl disappear into the crowd with a knowing smile.

"They'll make a good pair," she said, nodding to herself as she recalled the matching notebook that she had given to a teenage boy that morning who wanted a notebook for the same reason as the girl. To write to his future wife.
