I found myself sitting out on the balcony every morning since I've been home to watch the sun rise. Johnny has been so incredible in helping me through everything these past couple days and sticking by my side. Thankfully there haven't been any severe episodes, just the occasional cry and a few small panic attacks. I was consumed in my zoned out state until I heard the door open behind me.
"Hey, babygirl." Johnny walked up behind and wrapped his arms around me, kissing the side of my head. I grabbed onto his arm, stroking my hand up and down it, leaning my head back.
"How'd you sleep, honey?" I asked him.
"Good. What about you?"
"A lot better, actually. I was able to sleep through the night."
"Oh, baby that's such great progress." He leaned in and kissed me on the lips. I smiled a genuine smile for what felt like the first time in a while. He stood up and sat beside me on the bench, pulling me into his lap.
"Tomorrow we have to leave early in the mornin'. Do you want me to help you pack?" He asked. I looked at him like he had lost his mind. His idea of packing isn't exactly "packing". It's shove shit in and go.
"I think we both know that isn't going to cut it. I watched you pack once and I was mortified. I got it, but thank you." I giggled and kissed his forehead.
"It's not that bad! But okay fine. It's all yours."
"That's what I thought, darling." I got up and stretched as John snaked his hands on my sides and pulled me between his legs, leaving kisses on my stomach. I smiled and put my hands on his head, running my fingers through his hair. I love this man from the moon and back.
3:45 AM
I woke up before the alarm he had set last night. I reached over and turned it off before it could belt out its obnoxious ring. I laid my head on his shoulder, gently tracing my thumb across his cheek and bottom lip. His eyes slowly fluttered open and a smile developed on his face.
"Good morning, beautiful." He shifted his body and laid on his back, putting his hands on my arms and squeezing gently.
"Good morning, darling. Sleep well?"
"Yes ma'am I did. How about you?"
"I did, yeah. I'm going to start up the coffee pot and then I'll shower and get ready."
"Can I join?" He smirked and kissed my hand. I chuckled and kissed him sweetly.
"You know you don't have to ask, right?" I sat up and got out of bed, going down to the kitchen and getting the coffee going, eventually going back up the stairs where he had already gotten in the shower. I joined in and well, we showered eventually.
I finished packing up our bags before getting ready in just a pair of black denim skinny jeans, a plain black tee, and blue denim jacket. Johnny walked out in blue denim jeans, a white shirt, and his iconic black leather jacket and a suede hat. Holy fuck. I flashed him a smile and kissed him.
"My god look at you." I said as I continued to gawk at him, looking him up and down. He smiled and kissed my forehead, cupping his hand around my neck gently and and placing a long kiss on my lips.
"Look who's talking." I smiled and rolled my eyes, playfully shoving his shoulder.
"We got to get going. Sounds like the car is here." He grabbed our bags and we went downstairs and I grabbed our mugs and we got in the car heading to the airport for London.
After a couple of hours, we made it to the airport and on the private plane. It was going to be a long flight and Johnny decided to try and sleep through it as he made is way on the other side of the plane. I knew I wouldn't be able to, so I had brought my laptop with me because I wanted to be able to watch one of his most recent movies, The Libertine. It took me so long to find a copy since it had been swept under the rug and didn't have the opportunity to be screened in theaters much. I put in my earbuds and started it. As I got closer to the end, I was an emotional wreck. It was beautiful. The storyline was impeccable. It told an honest story and man, did it wear me down emotionally. I noticed Johnny walking towards me so I cloed my laptop and took out my earbuds. He sat down and kissed me and put his arm around me.
