As the days passed Quirrell was starting to look paler and paler as the weeks went by, the four would check at the third floor to hear if Fluffy was still growing inside, Ron started to tell people off for joking about Quirrell's stutter and Y/n started to be very unsure who was the culprit as his forehead kept burning no matter where his was now, it was like someone was sticking a hot knife to his forehead, Snape continued storming about which meant the stone was still safe, Hermione had more on her mind than just the Philosopher's Stone, she was organising and colour coding her notes which she tried to encourage the others to do the same

Y/n: Hermione the exams are ten weeks away

Hermione: Ten weeks!!! That's like ten seconds to Nicolas Flamel!!

Y/n: Still feels like forever

Ron: We're not over 600 years old, what are you revising for anyway you know it all

Hermione: You do realise that we need to pass are exams to get into second year!!! I should have been studying ages ago, I don't know what's gotten into me

Y/n: Well I'm screwed ......

Hermione: I've already organised and colour coded your notes

Harry and Ron looked at him suprised he's getting help from her and not them

Y/n: That explains why I couldn't find them ......

Hermione: How on earth did you ever find your notes, they were all over the place

Y/n: I didn't......

Apparently all the teachers were thinking the same thing as Hermione as they pilled so much homework on them the Easter holidays weren't as much fun except for April Fools where Y/n and the Weasley twins decided to spend the day pranking everyone, Harry woke up with fake glasses while Ron had his clothes shrunk, Malfoy would constantly combust randomly while Snape struggles to find his ingredients and kept pulling out granny underwear

Y/n: Sir you should know better than bringing your dirty laundry to class

Snape scowled at Y/n all lesson while Harry and Ron laughed quietly in the corner, Hermione kept pulling out flowers out of her books since Y/n didn't want to face her wrath if he did one of his normal pranks on her, during the rest of the time the four spent their time in the library studying but Y/n had other ideas getting slowly more annoyed by the pain on his forehead

Y/n: I'm going to Hagrid's

Hermione turned towards him as he stood up and was about to leave before she stopped him looking at him scowling at his lack of interest in studying for the exams

Hermione: Y/n don't be stupid!! We need to be preparing for are exams

Harry: I'm kinda with Hermione on this one

Y/n: Look, I'm tired of hanging around waiting for some on to come and steal the stone, if anyone knows anything about the defences on the third floor would be Hagrid

Harry and Ron nod in agreement as they stood up and walked to him, Hermione as was going frantic

Hermione: Your can't be serious, it's getting late and we could get in trouble

Y/n: Look, you don't have to come but aren't you curious about what else is behind that trapdoor

Y/n smirks knowing this has been making her wonder what else could be protecting the stone along with somebody had to know that Snape was trying to steal it, she nods and him but slapped him with her book as they left the library, they snuck down towards Hagrid's hut as the sky grew darker the four stood at his door as Y/n knocks
