Y/n, Harry, Ron and Hermione had a likely for the more dangerous creatures like Norbert the Ridgeback Dragon or Fluffy the three headed dog, Harry thought that Hagrid would go to any lengths to see this creature and probably thought it was ashame that it was couped up this long but Y/n would have none of it believing Hagrid would put students in danger to this extent, Ron and Hermione would ask them to recount what they had seen and Y/n got slowly bored of the circular conversations

Hermione: Maybe Riddle got the wrong person and maybe it's the wrong monster

Y/n: Creature Hermione but that's what I've been saying, the voice that I'm hearing before the attacks don't add up

Harry: We always knew that Hagrid was expelled and the attacks must have stopped otherwise Riddle wouldn't have gotten his award

Everyone was looking gloomy and Y/n stood up leaving everyone looking at him as they also started to follow him

Hermione: Where you going??

Hagrid was standing behind them making Harry and Ron jump while Y/n just smiled happiy to see Hagrid after all this negativity going around

Y/n: Well you are hairy but not mad

Hagrid let out a little chuckle as the four tried to think of something to say while he's distracted and Harry sees something that Hagrid was holding

Harry: What have you got there Hagrid??

Hagrid: Oh this, this is flesh eating slug repellent, the mandrakes still have a little growing up to do before we can help thoses who are petrified and but soon everyone will be un-petrified, but until then your all better look after yourself, alright

Y/n: Don't worry Hagrid, we'll be alright

They decided not to say anything to Hagrid unless there's another attack and as days went by and still no voice roaming around the hoped that they would never have to ask why he was expelled, it had been nearly four months since nearly headless Nick and Justin had been petrified and everyone had thought that the attacker retired for good, everyone started to talk to Y/n again while in herbology and in march loud roars could be heard from greenhouse three where the mandrakes were and this made professor Sprout very happy

Sprout: Once they start to move into each other's pots we know they are mature and we'll be able to help those poor people in the hospital wing

Second years were given something to think about as they get to choose their subjects for next year which Hermione took very seriously

Y/n: Calm down its only third year, I just wish I didn't have to take potions and deal with Snape's crap

Y/n looked down at his paper seeing all the different subjects that he could take part in and one took his eyes immediately as he took Hermione's quill quickly and put a tick next to it, Hermione Looked over at what he had chosen and was quite reluctant to say anything
