I sat there, still looking at her text. It was such an odd thing to say, she must've been drunk to say that. right?

I kept texting her stuff like,

Elle?
Eloise?
Answer me!
Are you okay?

I had to make sure she was alright. I hope she was. I was starting to loose hope again on her texting me back, what If she'd forgotten me again.

"Can't wait for LA!" Evan yelled as he rushed in the room, it was still 6 months away, but we couldn't wait, it was the 2 of us and 4 other friends, we were transferring to hood-lens collage in LA, I couldn't wait, me and my best mates, it was going to be a blast. I couldn't wait to get away from my parents.

I had just finished packing, I had finally finished cleaning up my room, and we were ready to move out. We were officially moving out and moving to LA. I was moving to the same city as Eloise is in, what If I ran into her? That would be so awkward. Like we haven't seen each other for 10 years and we haven't talked since that night. I know I said I would be on a holiday but moving there would be so much better, better university and a better chance at life. I could see my childhood friends, and her.

I could finally see Eloise Smith again, find out why she was so drunk. I should text her, tell her my plan. No, she probably didn't want to talk to me, I mean if she did, wouldn't of she texted me back? I won't text her, she probably didn't want to see me anyway.

----------------

One final goodbye before I got on the plane to my new life. A new beginning, a fresh start. My new uni, with my best friends, on our permanent holiday. Finally, I could get my big break, I could become whatever I wanted, an architect. No more do this, do that. From my parents, I could settle down, and design stuff, just like how I used to do when I was a child with Lego.

We stood in line waiting to get on the plane. I looked back at my old life and never wanted to look back again.

----------------

I fell asleep on the plane for half the flight, 7 hours out of the 14. For the rest of the time, I sat next to Evan, talking or watching shows. Two of my close friends; Macey and bailey, were sitting together and were crying over some movie. They were holding each other and sobbing. They looked ridiculous!

I shot a glance at my two other friends, who were dating, Tom and Charlotte. Tom fell asleep and Charlotte was reading a book; trapped by liv Maine. I think I've read that, she looked like she was about to cry. I laughed at my friend's and tried to get some more sleep, we still had another 5 hours to go on the trip.

----------------

Once we had landed, it felt heavenly to step on the ground again. We collected our stuff and headed out of the airport. A group of four girls were getting out of a cab. For some reason, they had caught my eye, one of them looks somewhat familiar, but I'm not sure from when. Ikept walking, not taking my eyes off them, until I walked into someone.

"Watch it dick-head!" She yelled. I just looked at her and realised something.

"Elle?" I asked, not sure if it was her or not. I took the chance and hoped for the best. She was about 5 foot 8, approximately, so I towered over her, I was around 5 foot 11.

"How do you know my name?" She asked, suspicion in her quivering voice.

"Eloise Smith?" I asked again. She looked incredibly uncomfortable, but she knew I was right. It was her.

"Fuck off creep!" She yelled running off, her luggage trailing behind her. She didn't recognise me, I knew it was a long shot but it was her!

It took me a minute to realise, she was leaving. But she was probably trying to get a holiday in before the new school term started next week. Most people have already moved in, we were probably one of the last.

---------------

"floor four" the principal told us, "girls your rooms, Macey and bailey, your room is number 4, Charlotte you will be sharing with a girl called Isabelle in number 6. Boy's, James and Evan, you will be in room 27 and Tom, you will be sharing with a boy named Tobias in room 28." The principle told us. We were chatting the whole way up to our new rooms.

My neighbours, Maite and Oliver came out to greet us. They were very friendly and helped us settle in. They said about how when the rest of there friend group got back from their holiday, they would introduce us. I couldn't wait.
