" Hmmm.. what should i wear.." I asked myself as i stared at my wardrope. I really had no idea what to wear and i have been trying clothes for the past one hour and then throwing them carelessly on my bed because it was either too fancy or too casual.
I had no idea if we were going to get into the sea but just to be safe, i was going to wear my swimsuit and then over lay it with my clothes. Oh god, how i wish my bestfriend wasn't at the other side of the world right now.
I slipped into my blue bikini that i bought last summer, which i only wore once, because i had too. That was to Justin's summer party. But since he was away this summer, he didnt get to host a party and no one else took the initiative to. Sadly.
The bikini was pretty simple. Not too fancy and not too casual. It fit my creamy skin tone, at least that's what my mom said. It gave my emerald eyes a glint too.
On top of that, i decided to wear a strapless white dress that flowed just a few inches above my knees; not too short for the beach. I heaved a sigh of relief as i glanced at my reflection on the mirror.
I went for simple make up, like a tad bit of lip gloss, mascara and foundation. I looked pretty decent, just like me. To finish it off, i tied my hair into a messy bun.
I packed an extra set of clothes, to change into it just incase my dress gets wet. I settled for black ripped skinny jeans and a black tank top that had 'Nirvana' printed on it. Don't get me wrong, I love Nirvana. I packed a pair of converse too. Damn, i was excited!
I ran down to the shoe rack and slipped into my brown combat boots. Who said you couldn't wear dresses with a boots?
Also, it's my first time actually going out with Ashton to a place other than starbucks or pizza hut or a grocery store.
I grabbed my bag and boarded it with my valuables and woman needs before heading to the kitchen to see my mom using the blending machine, probably making orange juice for my dad. Yes, he was a fan of orange.
" Mum! I'm going to the beach with Ashton. I need some money, I'll only be getting my pay next week," I said. This was actually the first time she was home. She's always been so busy with work and most of the time she's either in the living or just slacking in the kitchen.
" Oh yeah Beth, take the 200 dollars from dad's gray drawer and be safe, "
I smiled at her and hugged her tightly, softly whispering a thank you.
After grabbing 200 bucks from my parents' bedroom, which was infact very messy because my mom hated cleaning up. So not stereotype. She always had a maid to do all these work but I guess she had some errands to run today.
I skipped down the flight of stairs and sat at my porch, waiting for Ashton. It was 12.55 so he should be here in 5 minutes.
"Honk honk"
I snapped my head up and I was a mini Subaru car which looked really cute. Inside it was ofcourse, the famous Ashton Irwin.
" Hey Beth, you're looking good today, " He remarked, smirking mischievously at me.
" Aha, I look good all the time but thank you. You're not to bad yourself," I smirked back.
He shook his head and laughed and then started the car. We were on the road.
"I'm really excited to go to the beach! I haven't been to one in ages," I said, looking at myself on the rearview mirror.
"Well you're welcome. Beaches have good food ," He replied, his gaze steady on the road.
I kept silent and nodded my head, a smile forming on my lips. I just didn't know what to say!
Finally, the view of the beach came by. It was breathtaking. The palm trees where swaying and the sand look pure and clean. The sea was blue and looked fantastic under the sunlight.
