Chapter 2

The next day, I was at starbucks trying to apply for a job.

"Uhm hello? I'm here to apply as a part-time worker?" I said to a random lady working at starbucks.

"Oh wait. Go into the office there." She said.

"Alright. Thank you." I said.

I knocked slowing on the door and a deep voice permitted me to enter.

"Hello sir. I'm here to apply for a part-time job here." I said, settling down on a chair.

"Oh hello. Just fill up this form." He said, handing me a white coloured A4 piece of paper.

I took it gently from him and started filling up my particulars.

"Here you go." I smiled.

"Hmm.. satisfying enough. You can start work here next Tuesday. "

"Alright! Thank you!" I thanked and left.

I called Justin to inform him that I managed to get a job. He just chuckled and teased me for being old. Obviously he was kidding.

One week flew by really fast. I spent the week watching movies from different genres. I watched The Notebook, The ward, The First time, Sorority wars and many other films.

Today was the day when Justin was flying off to London. I felt like crying as I would not be able to see him for 2 freaking months! Just when I was thinking through things, my alarm clock burst out ringing, interupting my thoughts.

"Freak you!" I groaned as I went to turn that annoying machine off.

I called Justin straight away when I got off my bed.

He answered the call in two rings.

"Hey Beth!" He yelled over the phone.

"Hey Jus! What time will you be there again?" I asked.

"Its 9am now. The flight would take off at 1pm. So I guess I'll be there by 11." He said.

"Oh alright! I'll be there at 11 too ,then" I replied.

"Okay Beth. See you , love. " were his last words before he ended the call.

I plugged the charger into my phone and walked to the washroom to take a bathe.

After about 30 minutes of showering, I came out of the toilet and walked to my wardrope to pick out my clothes.

I had trouble picking out an outfit as I wanted to look my best on his 'last' day before I would see him again in 2 months time.

I finally decided to wear a black dress with a white crop top over it. I tied the white top so that it looked more like a skirt and a top. I let down my brown wavy hair and dropped a few eye drops into my emerald eyes. I braided my fringe and clipped it up at the side of my hair. Satisfied with my overall, I grabbed my bag from the bag stand and hopped down the stairs.

I glanced at my watch and the time appeared as 10am.

"Wow" I thought. I usually take more than an hour. I guess I was rushing.

I grabbed a piece of french toast from the kitchen.

Busy cleaning the kitchen was my mum.

"Oh honey! You're leaving already?" she asked, settling down the piece of tainted cloth in the sink.

"Yeah mum. See you later!" I said, giving her a hug.

I slipped into my brown boots and left my house.

A taxi was approaching me and I flagged it down before it could run away from my sight.

"To the airport please. " I noted as I settled myself down in the cab.

I lived in Sydney, where everything was so beautiful. I watched as the trees swayed side by side and the birds flying about, probably happily chirping away.

I glanced at my watch and I gaped when I realised that it was 10.45. Wow, that was fast.

"You're here ma'am." The taxi driver said.

"Alright! Thank you!" I thanked and passed him the taxi fare.

I made my way into the airport and started my search on finding for Justin and his family.

Looking around left and right, I finally spotted them. I ran to them.

"Hey Mr and Mrs Book. And hey Christina!" I said, smiling.

"Oh and Ofcourse, hey Justin.." I chuckled.

"Hello dear ,Bethany" his parents said.

I smiled at them. Christina was sucking her thumb. She was only five.

"I hope you guys have a safe flight! Justin, make sure you give me a call once you've reached." I chortled and went to give him a pinch on his cheeks.

"We'll give you both 5 minutes alone." Mr Book chuckled and started walking away with Mrs Book and Christina.

"Thank you!" I giggled.

I turned back to Justin , staring at his beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"I'm going to miss you so much." I admitted, blushing slightly.

"Me too Beth." He smiled, embracing me into a warm hug.

"Make sure you take good care of yourself alright? I love you lots." I said.

"You too bethy! I love you more!" He chuckled and our lips met, sending sparks of joy to my stomach.

"Haha your parents are coming back already." I notified him.

"Awww okay " He teased.

"Alright Beth, we have to go . Bye dear. Take care. " Mrs Book said, giving me a hug.

"Aww alright. See you guys soon! Take care!" I shouted and gave Justin a final hug.

"I love you." I whispered into his ears.

"I love you too Beth." were his final words before he left.

When I reached home, I realised that my work at starbucks was starting tommorrow. I was working part-time. I jumped into my bed and decided to take a nap before dinner time arrives.
