Hey guys! So i decided to write again 'coz a few of you beautiful people have asked me to continue x (: My friend Jacey will be helping me to edit this book. I'm really thankful for her. She's a great friend to me, always guiding me when i need help. This chapter is dedicated to her! x Btw a pic of Ashton is at the side(:
---Chapter 8--
I woke up the next morning, feeling sleepy and fat from the amount of ice cream i had the previous day. Rubbing my -not so flat- stomach, i got off my bed and checked my phone. I was surprised to recieve a good morning text from Ashton. Without much hesitation, i greeted him back.
"9.30 am..." I whispered to myself before heading to the bathroom.
I better not be late for work today! I did not really bathe, considering that fact that my time was limited.
I quickly got out of the shower, slipping into my paddle pop bottom and a white crop top that had a little pocket on the top left side of the top.
"Done." I sighed, leaving my house.
While walking to Starbucks, which was only 5 minutes away, I thought about what i was going to stay when i met 5 seconds of summer. Like come on, they are a band. I wouldn't want to humiliate myself infront of them even though they're kinda embarrassing.
I watched their youtube videos yesturday, they were hilarious! Especially their live stream. They were a funny bunch of people. "People.."
I opened the glassy door of starbucks, making my way to the counter.
I spotted Kristy taking down orders of customers.
"Kristy! Hey!" i waved, grinning widely at her.
"Hey Beth!"
"I'll take on my shift now." I said, entering the counter.
She nodded and waved a good bye at me.
I really wonder how would she feel when she finds out that I've been hanging out with Ashton. Will she hate me? Will she think that i was the reason why he rejected her? I hope not because i had no intentions.
"Signature hot chocolate please." A high pitched voice said.
I snapped out of my thoughts and took down her order, taking full note of her appearance.
She was really tall. About 5'8. I was only 5'3 so imagine the height difference. I had to look up to meet her pair of blue eyes.
"Here, please wait at the side." I said, passing her the reciept.
"Thank you." she said, almost like a whisper.
Wow these people should spare me some height. I need to grow taller! I am considered short in Sydney, compared to all the 17 year olds here. They were all mosty 5'7 and 5'8. Me? 5'3. I got used to be called a midget but for all i care. I mean, I do care but I don't want to be affected by what they call me.
Work today had been the same as always. I realised that Ashton didn't visit Starbucks today. It was already 5.45 and i realised that a lot of young girls started making their way inside, majority of them staring at me and giving me the disgusted look. Some of them even snapped pictures of me.
If their intention was to get me famous, then yay! I'd like to be like Alex From Target. One picture of him was posted on the Twitter and bam, he got famous. Heck, he even got verified on twitter!
I took down many orders within that 15 minutes to 6. I took off my apron and hung it loosely on one of the empty "S" hooks, exiting the counter.
I stood outside of Starbucks, waiting for Ashton or one of his best friends to show up.
