" The fold should've fallen by now." Nikolai, who Kaz knew as the Strumhond, stated.
" Did she find the fire bird ?" Tolya asked.
" Long story. It's Mal." Tolya's twin sister, Tamar explained.
" I'm sorry, did you just say that, Mal's a bird ?" Jesper mused.
Everyone ignored him.
"Still no sign of Kirigan." Nikolai continued.
They all walked into the building, with in which the Fold had entered.
" We go in and find Alina and Mal." The king of Ravka says.
" I'll come with you. I need to find Y/n." Kaz says, for the whole group to look at him, shocked.
" What why ? May I remind you that you said you hat--"
" That will be enough, Jesper." Kaz interrupted the gunslinger.
" Here. " Kaz handed his cane to Nikolai.
" Don't you need it ?" The blonde asked.
" I've more experience with pain. Besides, the quicker this is over, the quicker I find Y/n." Kaz limped to Nikolai's left.
They all slowly entered the fold.
Y/n, where ever you are, please, be alive.
Kaz thought as he limped through the Fold.
They all walked in to see the other side of the palace, wrecked.
This is not what he signed up for.
" Follow me." Tolya ran off after the word slipped through his mouth.
The group followed.
Don't lead me into my doom.
