Without further ado, here's the last chapter, and off we go to season two
✨Y/N P.O.V✨
Y/n's breath hitched as darkness surrounded them.
The growling of Volcra grew louder each second.
Zoya fell back onto the ground. Y/n immediately wanted to help her.
"Get yourself on your feet, Nazyalensky!" She shouted.
Zoya didn't move. Y/n began to worry.
" She'll be fine, Y/n !" Inej grunted from behind her.
But Y/n stay frozen.
The Grisha where petrified of the fold. Since, they lost more kin than anyone else in Ravka did to it.
Thousands of innocents lost their lives in there.
And a few lived to tell the horrific tales of what lingers within.
Y/n turned back to see Inej was throwing her knives at a Volcra, who did not look pleased.
Y/n stood up and Inej tossed her a blade.
Y/n caught it.
" Sankta Petyr" Y/n whispered.
She turned around and,
As if on que, a Volcra came and sat on the railing.
For saints sake !
Y/n lunged at it, dagger in hand. She hit it in the eye. The creature hissed in pain.
Y/n stabbed it again, making it fly away.
Another one of the monsters came up behind her.
She turned to see that it was coming right at her.
"May the saints recieve me." She whispered, bracing for the worst.
" Y/n ! Move !" A familiar voice called from behind.
It was Kaz.
Y/n moved out of the way, colliding with the floor in the process.
She looked up to see Kaz hitting the Volcra with his cane. The cane pierced it's eye, making it scream in pain.
" KAZ YOU'RE ALRIGHT !" Y/n cried.
" Ofcourse. Why wouldn't I be ?" He smirked, pulling out his cane.
Y/n smiled as she rose up onto her feet.
As soon as she did, a seering burst of light pushed the darkness from around them.
Y/n walked up to get a better view of what was going on down below.
That's when she saw Alina, glowing.
