My heart sped,my face flushed I swept from the room and into the bathroom.
I threw up my contents from my bad stomach ache into the toilet.
"Oh..gosh..." I fell back from my crouched position gazing down at the blood before me.
I had the oddest feeling,I stood up from the bathroom floor and gazed at the newly formed mirror,my face looked withdrawn and flushed,I could tell I had a severe temperature for I had no reason why I had become sick.
Then she remembered,the pills that Tania had given her were never consumed for her benefit.She gazed at her scar which had not changed at all.
"How can I be so stupid!" She had only herself to blame,she couldn't catch feelings for the slick vampire even if she wanted to.In the beginning she came here as his enemy and now she wanted out.She wanted no part of being with Cole and being a part of the bond of a mate.She was cursed after all even adding up Lyom believing she was Serena made things worse,Ria had no choice,she had to leave.
"Ria?" There was a knock at the door as she placed her shirt back down "Ill be out in a minute...I have girl problems you know how that is."
She knew Cole sensed something,she could feel his inching curiosity."Ria are you okay?" She quickly flushed the toilet and washed her face."Well duh im alive aren't I?" He ignored her statement and spoke up "Are you hungry?You haven't eaten for days..well I haven't seen you have a single meal.." He said slowly "Oh im not that hungry but thanks and yes I have eaten don't worry!" "Ria,Im going to do some business,you care to join?" "No no im fine." She wasn't fine at all,she felt as if she wanted to throw up again,she felt taken away of all her energy and she couldn't even shift to her angel form to make it better.
"Can I at least see you before I leave?" What will she do?She couldn't have him worry about her,she had to think about leaving or he would fuss over her and make a big deal of things.
"Ria?" "What?" "Open the door Ria I cant help but to think your hiding something from me." "I told you girl problems!!" "What sort of girl problems could you possibly have when you can talk about them with me?Ria open the door now!" "Im on my period!" "Don't fool with me Ria,you had your annual a week ago!" "One...two.." she neared before he could get to three as she opened the door revealing a slightly pissed Cole,he had black jeans and a plain white shirt.
"I smell blood..." Cole looked at her suspiciously and neared her sniffing her "Were you vomiting?"
"Yea I had the worst cold..." she gazed away from him,she leaned against the door for support but that didn't help much,Cole knew.
"Ria!Your blazing up!" his hand was cold on her face,she didn't know she had leaned into him,wanting to sleep for a while."Im just so tired..." "Why the hell didn't you tell me you were sick!" he carried her back to bed."I Don't know.."
Cole looked angry,he wanted to show her he could take care of her "Tania!" Cole opened the door and screamed for the maid "Yes sir!" Tania showed up quickly gazing at her friend who lay on the bed.
"What is wrong?" "Your a nurse right?Check her right away." Tania rushed to Rias side investigating her.Then with wide eyes she gazed at Ria "You've been poisoned."
She couldn't understand,shes only drank water and she hasn't ate a thing,how could she? "We need to call a doctor right away!" "How is she poisoned tell me!I need answers!"
"A vampire can inject poison into anyone to make the transfer complete..to possess...a child...."
"Are you saying someone injected their blood into my mate's system to get her pregnant?!" "Yes..truthfully..after the transition...you could lose your memory from the amount of blood stored within oneself...and then the mating..she is still ..."
Tania was pale now "You cannot bear the blood of a vampire fused within yourself with your angel blood..unless its your mate which isn't poisonous...and if you wish to commit murder this is something that is considered."
