Chapter XXV: Not Broken, Just Bent
Warning: Mild language

Just because all the houses, students and staff had been spoken to about Harry and Snape's relationship, didn't mean that the comments and sneers, name-calling, and horrible rumors, and whispers hadn't continued. The worst of it was the horrible innuendos Harry and Snape were tossed throughout the week. Nothing was more embarrassing than when Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall had to explain to the houses why their relationship was valid and telling them all that anyone who spread rumors or harassed them would be given detention and house points would be taken away.

Harry was more than happy when the weekend rolled around, and he could lazily stay in bed for the morning. He had no intention of stepping out of the Gryffindor common room, but he knew that staying inside would only make the situation worse. It was a nice enough day, and the sun was shining despite the slight breeze in the air.

They were currently in the courtyard, Hermione and Seamus, discussing whether they should go down to Hogsmede for the day or not. Considering that it was the week and the weather was warm, they could easily get the train and head to the little village and go to Honeydukes. That was until Harry saw his professor. He should have asked if the older man wanted to spend some time with him that that everyone knew, and they actually could.

Potions the rest of the week was dreadful. Not because people were still whispering and spreading rumors (which Snape had made quite clear he wouldn't tolerate by taking away point, even from his own house), but because their bond and magic was dreadfully strong when they saw one another.

The sexual tension between them was growing stronger by the day and trying to concentrate was hard as it was with his professor striding around the place in those dark robes of his, but tipped up with their magic and Harry's desire for Snape. Well... it warranted him a terrible problem in his groin area.

Several times, he ended up asking to use the bathroom just so he could breathe and take care of his problem! He knew that Snape knew it was just an excuse, too.

Severus Snape hadn't had much of an easier time, either. He was good at controlling his emotions and actions, but at least twice in the span of ten seconds Harry had noticed him looking at him, as if enough to know that Snape's mind was being played with just as much as his from their magic. He was lucky that no one else seemed to really care-except Hermione and Seamus, who had asked Harry how he was feeling.

It had been four months since Snape's birthday, and they hadn't had much time to talk at all, let alone being able to be physical-not that he got the feeling Snape wanted to be. But for the most part, all Harry wanted was to sit down and talk with him. Be in the same room without other students.

"Hermione, do you think maybe you can go with Seamus?" He asked Hermione, the girl looking up from her book.

Seeing Snape, Hermione got the idea. "You want to spend time with him?"

"Yeah, I... I kinda do," Harry said, giving a light smile. He never thought in all his years that he would be saying that he wanted to spend time with Professor Snape.

"Be careful, Harry. He's in a terrible mood today."

Harry rolled his eyes. When wasn't Snape in a bad mood? "How do you know that?"

"Just look at him," she said, closing her book, "his hands are clenched," she stated.

"I noticed it's in his behavior. He might not express much on his face, but his body language says enough. Plus, he's walking extremely fast."
