Chapter XLIV: The Dursleys
Warning: Explicit language, underage kissing, some implied sexual situations.

Summer of 1982

As the warm summer sun cast a golden glow over the lush green gardens of the sprawling estate, Arthur and Lucius eagerly prepared two-year-old Harry for his first meeting with his cousin. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation as they dressed Harry in his cutest little outfit, adorned with tiny buttons and a bow tie that kept slipping out of place.

Harry laid flat on his stomach, giggling happily as his train set magically moved around the room. "Choo choo."

"That's right, Harry, the train goes choo choo."

The two year old rolled onto his back with his feet in the air. He mumbles happily, pressing the different buttons on the train. "Dada choo choo."

"You're so smart, my love. Choo choo!" Arthur gathered up the changing supplies. Harry began to squirm the toy train forgotten beside him on the floor. Arthur removed his onesie. "You're a very stinky boy, huh? Me, you, Papa, Draco, and Ron are going to go for a ride in a little bit. And if you boys are really good, we'll take you out for some ice cream."

"Scream?"

Arthur laughs, wiping his son down before placing a new nappy on him. "Yes, ice cream. Which stuffie do you want to bring?"

"Stitch."

Once Harry was changed and dressed again, Arthur lightly tapped his nappy coveted bum and told little Harry to go play. The room is filled with an air of excitement as Harry is bouncing with energy, his emerald green eyes wide with curiosity behind thick black frames. Harry was talking rapidly as Arthur got things ready. He could make out a few words the boy was saying, but for the most part, it was just excited gibberish.

"Lucius, love, grab a change of clothes for Harry, Draco, and Ron. And grab two pairs of underwear for them, too."

"Already done, love,"

"Grab a nappy and a dummy for Harry and the Stitch stuffed animal." Arthur smiled down at Harry, adjusting his bow tie with a gentle touch. "There we go, all ready to meet your cousin, sweetheart. You're going to have so much fun today!" He scooped up Harry, who giggled with delight as his father lifted him high into the air. "Yes, you're going to meet Dudley today, Harry! He's your cousin on your mum's side of the family," He exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with excitement. He knew Harry had no idea what he was saying, but he was happy to know that Harry had a living relative.

A few minutes later, Lucius came down the stairs with a crying four year old. His face is contorted into a scowl, and he places Ron down on the ground. "I swear this, kid will be the death of me."

"Just put him in the carseat and stick a dummy in his mouth. The moment we start driving, they'll be asleep within a few minutes."

Lucius stared down at Ron as his son continued crying loudly. He ignored Ron and began to get Draco dressed for the day. "I know you're very upset, Ronald, but Papa needs a few minutes to get your brother dressed. We're already running late to meet Harry's cousin." He hands his son a sippy cup full of juice and watched as the toddler took it from his hand and began to drink shortly after. Lucius breathed a sigh of relief when the crying stopped, and with new found energy, he quickly got Draco dressed. "Go to your Daddy. Harry, you look quite dashing my little bug." He kissed Harry's cheek, smiling softly at hearing the small giggles escape the two-year-old's lips.
