TRIGGER WARNING TRIGGER WARNING TRIGGER WARNING

JUST LIKE IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THIS FANFICTION, SNAPE EXPERIENCED YEARS OF SEXUAL ABUSE FROM HIS FATHER AND THIS CHAPTER GOES INTO THAT. A TRIGGER WARNING HAS BEEN PLACED ON THIS CHAPTER BECAUSE IT SHOWS A GRAPHIC RAPE SCENE INVOLVING BLOOD, SELF-HARM AND MENTIONS OF SUICIDE AND MURDER.

SOME OF THIS DIALOGUE IS BASED ON CONVERSATIONS IVE HAD WITH MY THERAPIST BASED ON THE THINGS IVE GONE THROUGH. It gets pretty angsty, but it needs to be written so we can understand why Snape is the way that he is.

I'VE PLACED THE NECESSARY WARNINGS ON THIS CHAPTER IN HOPES THAT THIS STORY DOESN'T GET DELETED AGAIN. SO PLEASE DO NOT DELETE MY STORY WATTPAD.

Chapter XXXII: Said The Spider to The Fly
Warning: Strong Language, angst, underage kissing, and graphic depiction of child sexual abuse, molestation, rape mentions of self-harm, and drunken lewd behavior.

Harry and Snape were walking down one of  London's busy streets, holding hands, and quietly talking amongst themselves thinking nothing of it. A group of guys were following close by. They had just finished lunch at a quaint little restaurant that provided light music as entertainment. He knew they could have found a discreet spot around the Burrow to have lunch,  but the weather was so nice and inviting that Harry thought they both could enjoy a nice walk on such a lovely day.

The last several days had been really rough for both of them, but the time apart from each other was something they really needed. Harry knew that they both needed a change of scenery. Things were better between them now and Harry had to chalk it up to the fact that his professor was being more open with the way he was feeling. It wasn't great and some days were harder than others, but Snape was trying.

Harry looked up at Snape and smiled. The man looked lighter, like he wasn't heavily carrying the weight of the world in his shoulders. There were still a lot of things he needed to work on, but Harry was sure of one thing, he'd be there to support his lover for as long as it took.

Snape was humming lightly to himself taking in his surroundings. He looked at Harry a small smile on his face. "Lunch was quite delicious, Harrison. I don't know where you find these places."

"Hermione, me, Dean, Neville, and Seamus went to a festival last week and we just happened to stumble on the place." Said Harry, "what was your favourite dish we had today?"

"I quite enjoyed the celeriac shawarma, bkeila, and the fermented tomato." Snape said, he pushed a stray hair out of Harry's face, tucking it behind the boy's ear. "But your salted cod with chickpeas & confit garlic, fenugreek onions, and Jerusalem artichokes amba, was devine."

"Mhm... We'll definitely have to have lunch there again, I've never seen you eat so much."

Snape laughed and Harry felt himself melt. It was such a pure and rare sound. "I don't know what you want me to say, the food was enjoyable, unlike anything I've ever tasted before." Said Snape, "besides, you act as if I don't eat."

"Baby, you don't eat though. You're so fucking picky, I'm surprised you can walk without your legs snapping, you're so skinny." Said Harry, he laughs softly gripping onto the man's arm tighter. "You eat like a toddler."

Harry looked behind him and realized that the group of guys that had been following them earlier were coming up on them from behind had said the word "faggot." He'd heard the words, but he hadn't processed them. Snape had been discussing their bond and all the books he'd read and really had not been paying attention to anything but the man next to him. It was a big enough city and he wasn't concerned.
