"I think I might be sick." I said, truthfully. My stomach was tight with the information I just found out. Caio set his hand on my shoulder, and I looked at him.

"If you want to tell Vito I can print—-"

"No!" I yelled.

"Matteo, he is your father."

"No! I can't." I said, panic settling into my stomach. "Delete it, get rid of it, make it go away!"

Alessio wrapped me in his arms and apologized. When he let me go, he spoke. "Matteo, I can't delete it. You know this, he deserves to know. At the very least." He looked at his father, and I knew what he was thinking.

"I don't want anything to change." I said, being completely truthful.

"Matteo, I know what it's like to have a father you know nothing about. I mean, our circumstances are different, but not that much. My father didn't know about me, and we have a decent relationship. You had a father, for a while, not a great one, but he was sure you were his. We know this isn't true now."

"I feel like my whole life is a lie."

"Some of it is, and that's no one but Mom's fault."

"What if he is ashamed of me, or—--"

"Hush." Caio said, tilting my head back against the back of the couch, and looking at me with those beautiful, reassuring eyes.

"If you think telling Vito is a good idea, then do it. But I don't want anything to change." I said.

"You have that right, Matteo. But if Vito wants to be a father, maybe give him a chance," Alessio said.

I frowned, standing up.

"What are you doing?"

"Going home, back to Caio's bed to sleep, and I don't know, debate my existence." I said, feeling gross.

"Our bed can wait, Matteo." Caio said, and I gave him puppy dog eyes. I wanted to hide.

"Caio, I'll touch your dick if you let me go home and—---"

"I don't think so," Caio said, frowning.

Alessio took the laptop back to the office and came back with a printed paper. He picked up his phone and started texting someone, and I spoke to Caio.

"I'm going to pass out." I said, my heart beating so quickly.

"Take deep breaths. Once this is out, there isn't anything else to freak out about."

"Alessio, we don't have to do this right now!" I yelled.

"Think about how mad you were when you found out. He is going to be mad, too."

Lev walked Andrei out, and I wanted to go home with Andrei, go stay with him, Lukas and Gabe. Caio sat down beside me.

"Matteo, breathe. You're hyperventilating." Caio said, gently before alerting my brother to my panic. I pulled at the neck of the sweater I had on, feeling like it was choking me. Caio pulled me to his chest and started rubbing my back.

"Breathe in deeply, hold, breathe out." Caio whispered.

It was working until Vito came inside, Lev behind him. The sound of his voice made me panic worse. I tried to push against Caio, but he held me against him.

"Breathe if you keep hyperventilating like this, you will pass out." Caio said, still rubbing my back.

"Is Matteo ok?" Vito asked.

I heard Alessio tell him they were going to speak in his office. When the door closed, I had to shove Caio away from me aggressively. Running to the bathroom, I threw up stomach acid. I was shaking. I expected it to be Caio who came in, but it wasn't it was Lev.
