The full moon was out, the stars were twinkling and the sky was dark and blue. And the Glorps were all asleep in their tents, snoring into the air. Well except for Gurggle, for he was going around calling and looking around for Glomp after he lashed out at him earlier on, and he still felt guilty about it.
Yet despite all the callings he did for him, there was no response.
- "Oh bontá gentile where could he be..." Gurggle wondered, clearly worried.
He felt like giving up at this point, maybe he hurt Glomp so much to the point where he ran off somewhere far to the point of no return, until he heard screaming, familiar screaming coming from somewhere.
- "HELP! HELP!"
It was Glomp.
- "GURGGLE! TORTS! ANYBODY HELP PLEASE!" Glomp shouted.
This would alert Gurggle towards the sounds of Glomp's distressed calls, without stopping not without resting. Eventually he found Glomp tangled up and captured by the vines of a Venus mix flytrap.
- "Hang on-a, Glomp! I'll get-a ya!" Gurggle got a cube it, luckily he had one in spare.
- "Quick! Grab-a onto it!" He shouted.
Glomp instantly grabbed the cube it and he mixed with Gurggle, the mix was able to splat slime into the mix flytrap's face, leaving it to burry itself back in the ground. Glomp and Gurggle then unmixed.
- "Phew.. Oh, Glomp.. I was-a looking for you... Are you-a okay?" Gurggle asked Glomp's checking him for any injuries.
Glomp sniffed up some of the ooze inside his nose, nodding.
- "I'm fine, you're probably gonna yell at me now that I got myself in trouble yet again.." Glomp chuckled sadly.
Gurggle would shake his head.
- "Glomp-a listen.. I'm-a real sorry for yelling at-a you back there... And-a scolding you for your-a wacky ideas..." Gurggle apologized.
Glomp looked at Gurggle for a few moments, and looked away.
- "But... Sometimes they can get other mixels hurt..." Glomp protested. "So I sort of deserved that..."
- "N-Now now-a, I'm sure not-a all of them can..." Gurggle reassured. "Besides, your-a stunt with the fish was-a pretty cool!"
Glomp looked back at Gurggle in a bit of surprise.
"You mean it..?" Glomp asked.
Gurggle would nod.
In a spark of happiness, Glomp pulled Gurggle into a hug, it was tight but not too tight either. Gurggle would chuckle and embrace back, it almost looked like they had a father-son moment between them.
As they ended the embrace, the rest of the Glorps came running in.
- "Papa Gurggle! Glomp!" Torts ran up to them. "There you are!"
- "Bark! We were looking for ya!" Glurt barked.
- "Yeah! Where did you two go?" Slusho asked before landing down.
Gurggle settled down the worried group.
- "Now now, we're-a fine fellas!" Gurggle said. "And-a me and Glomp patched things up so there's-a nothing to worry about!"
The group smiled at the two taller Glorps, suddenly ray of gentle lights surrounded them.
- "Say, what are these lights surrounding us?" Dribbal wondered, looking around with the others.
Luckily they were merely fireflies, they lit up th darkness along with the moon, and it almost looked like they were dancing around them elegantly.
- "Woah... So amazing!" Torts chirps, sprinting and spinning around some of them.
The other smaller Glorps joined in with Torts, laughing in sheer joy and delight at the sight of the fireflies. Glomp and Gurggle looked at eachother, smiling.
- "This was a real great camping trip, eh?" Glomp asked Gurggle.
- "Yep, it-a really was Glomp." Gurggle responded. "It-a really was."
The two ended up joining the rest in order to have a bit of fun as well, maybe even a little bit of wackiness of Glomp's.
This was a splendid Glorp Camping.
