- "Kam?" Jinky was standing over Kamzo, who was writing out paper work.
Kamzo's attention slips from the papers and then up to Jinky.
- "Whaddya want, Jink? Did the big bad machines scare ya into needing some comfort?" He would ask.
Jinky shakes his head before responding.
- "No, you have bags under your eyes." Jinky said, leaning down to Kamzo's level and pointed at the bags.
Kamzo would feel the bags under his eyes, they seemed to not be so well, however he'd brush it off.
- "Eh, these old bags? I'm fine, sleep is overrated." Kamzo scoffed.
Jinky starts to look at Kamzo in worry as his expression changes.
- "You say that all the time yet this work is affecting ya, and I know it." Jinky said, crossing his arms.
Kamzo almost looked flustered and embarrassed.
- "Look, it's fine. It's not that big of a deal alright? Sleep is something all of us workaholics can forget about for a while, you know?" Kamzo reassured, about to turn back to his work.
Jinky blinked, looking at Kamzo for a moment and suddenly coming up with an idea. He'd grab the smaller Klinker and hold him up arms, causing him a bit of surprise.
- "Hey! What are you doing?! Put me down!" Kamzo would kick his legs around.
- "Heh, remember when I used to carry ya like this all the time?" Jinky chuckles, wrapping Kamzo in his embrace.
Kamzo grumbled trying to get out of Jinky's grasp but to no avail.
- "This is embarrassing! let me go! I'm too old to be carried around like this!" Kamzo yelled.
Jinky shook his head and started to caress the smaller Klinker softly and gently.
- "Okay, I have to admit this is kinda nice, but are you gonna put me down or not? Kamzo asked.
- "Nope." Jinky says, continuing to stroke Kamzo's head while softly speaking.
Each gentle stroke seems to send soothing and gentle waves into Kamzo's body, he tries not to give in but his eyelids just begin to droop ever so slightly. Jinky starts hushing Kamzo like a baby, like a mixel comforting another mixel.. it was so.. nice..
Kamzo leans into Jinky's embrace, it was really comforting. All these thoughts about work and getting things done, they all just fell away... He just wanted to stay this way forever.
- "Poor lil buddy you just want to have some sleep, yet all this work is overwhelmin' ya ain't it...?"Jinky said, his expression concerned.
Kamzo lets out a small whimper as he clings onto Jinky, he eventually burries his face into his chest and begins to bawl.
- "It's just so much! I don't understand how other mixels do it! It's all so hard... And scary..." Kamzo vented.
- "I know it is, but remember I'm right here for you.. always Kam..." Jinky says softly.
Kamzo squeezes Jinky tightly and the looks up at him with big 'ol tear filled eyes.
- "I'm sorry for bein' a big baby... I just needed someone to comfort me, you know? I really didn't wanna bother you..." Kamzo sniffled.
- "Awww you're not botherin' me at all, Kam.." Jinky reassured his younger brother." I care about ya.."
Kamzo smiles softly and suddenly gets a devilish idea.
- "Hey Jinky, can you do me a favor?" He would ask.
- "Hmm? And that being?" Jinky tilted his head.
He chuckled before responding.
- "Well, I think I might need a bedtime story. Something nice and cozy to help me fall asleep. I mean, after all, if anyone knows any good bedtime stories, it'd be you." Kamzo have an innocent smile.
Jinky also chuckled, patting Kamzo once more.
- "Of course lil bro, anythin' for you." Jinky gives Kamzo a warm brotherly smile.
Kamzo leans into Jinky again and closes his eyes, his heart fluttering with excitement at the idea of Jinky telling him a bedtime story.
