"Oh, Aslan," said Lucy. "Will you tell us how to get into your country from our world?"
"I shall be telling you all the time." said Aslan. "But I will not tell you how long or short the way will be; only that it lies across a river. But do not fear that, for I am the great Bridge Builder. And now come; I will open the door in the sky and send you to your own land,"
"Please, Aslan," said Lucy. "Before we go, will you tell us when we can come back to Narnia again? Please. And oh, do, do, do make it soon."
"Dearest," said Aslan very gently, "you and your brother will never come back to Narnia."
"Oh. Aslan!!" said Edmund and Lucy both together in despairing voices. "You are too old, children," said Aslan, "and you must begin to come close to your own world now."
"It isn't Narnia, you know," sobbed Lucy. "It's you. We shan't meet you there. And how can we live, never meeting you?"
"But you shall meet me, dear one," said Aslan. "Are- are you there too, Sir?" said Edmund.
"I am." said Aslan. "But there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."
"And is Eustace never to come back here either?" said Lucy. "Child," said Aslan, "do you really need to know that? Come, I am opening the door in the sky." Then all in one moment they were gone.

Sirius woke up from his dream. The memories of the last time he had seen Edmund and Lucy burned in his brain. He had always wondered what their world was like. He wanted to know if it was anything like the one he lived in now.
Sitting up in his bed he sighed. It was still dark outside. He got up and walked down the stairs to the common room. On the couch in front of the fire was sitting Lily. A small smile grew on Sirius face as he jumped onto the couch next to the girl.
"Hey there Lils!" He greeted her happily. The red head looked up at him smile. "You have to much energy." She told him. "Ah... Well" Sirius looked down into the fire.
He let the energy leave his body letting the sadness take over again. "You okay?" Lily asked worried. The black haired boy let his eyes fall onto the girl. "I just miss them you know..."
"I mean I love Pete, Jamie and Moony but I miss my old friends. I just wish I would have them with me."
Lily looked at him with sympathy in her eyes. "Hey, they will always be with you. And I'm sure in what ever world they are at home they all miss you too." Sirius smiled at her with sadness in his eyes. "Yeah... Thanks lily."
His eyes fell back onto the fire and they sat in silence the only thing you could hear was the fire and the quiet breathing of the two classmates. Sirius started to imagine what their lives could be like now. What kind of things they would do. He could imagine them walking through London as Muggles doing some weird Muggle job. And even though he didn't know any of those he just came up with something that fit the other in his opinion.

Lily yawned next to him. "Well I will go to bed." She said and got up. Sirius smiled at her before he stayed alone in the common room. He couldn't help but feel cold. Even though the small fire in front of him he felt cold. Cold and lonely.
He didn't want to keep lily from the sleep that she needed but he had hoped to sit with her a little longer. To sit with someone who knew what was going on with him.
He took one of the pillows and hugged it hoping for it to come to life like everything else in Narnia and hug him back. But he knew better. In this world it wasn't as magical as narnia. Not everything was just randomly alive.

With time the fire in the fire place burned down. With the darkness it became even colder. Hugging the pillow thicker he hoped for warmness but it didn't change a thing. Shivering his legs came up to his body hugging himself.
"There you are!" A voice from the stairs called out. Sirius eyes jumped from the burned down fire to the stairs. On the end of the stairs he saw his friends. They were all looking at him with worried faces.
When they saw the sad look on their friends face all three of them came running over to the boy. "Siri are you okay?" James asked sitting down on his right side. Remus sat down left from him and Peter sat down next to James.
The black haired put a hand on Sirius' shoulder. "Merlin you are cold." He said and laid the blanket he had still around his shoulders around the others as well. "What's wrong, Padfoot?" Remus asked carefully.
"I-" Sirius looked at the others.
For a moment he thought of what to say. He didn't want to bother them about his other friends. Not sure how they would take it.
Even though he knew they would understand he just felt like it was unfair to them.
Rethinking his words.
"I love you guys. You are the best of friends I could ever wish for." He finally pressed out. "Awww" James said and hugged his best friend. "We love you too." He said. Peter nodding and Remus giving him a reassuring smile.

When the other griffindors got down to the common room the next morning they found the four boys still on the couch alseep. Sirius and had his head on James shoulder who's head was on Sirius'. Peter was lying over James' legs with his head on the pillow that was sitting on Sirius' legs. Remus head was on Sirius' shoulder and around them all was a blanket that was to small to really cover them all.
