KATNISS EVERDEEN HAD WORN the wedding dress and turned it into a mockingjay as an act of rebellion. The white silk symbolised the lies that they were all fed to by the Capitol. But the mockingjay, that was a symbol of rebellion. And by Katniss Everdeen turning herself into the symbol of revolution, it not only invited others to join in rebelling, it begged, yearned.

"A mockingjay, I think," Katniss said as Caesar stated she looked like a bird, Juniper shaking her head with a grin. Why was she so excited? Maybe because Snow's headache had just turned into a massive migraine. "It's the bird on the pin I wear as a token."

A shadow of recognition flickered across Caesar's face, just like it did during Juniper's three minutes, and the Hale woman knew that the mockingjay wasn't just a token. What was seen as a trendy, famous clothing accessory in the Capitol was viewed entirely different throughout the districts. But Caesar Flickerman being Caesar Flickerman, he managed to make the best of it.

"Well, hats off to your stylist. I don't think anyone can argue that that's not the most spectacular thing we've ever seen in an interview. Cinna, I think you better take a bow!" Caesar gestured to Katniss's stylist to rise and as he did, being gracious and smiling slightly, it clicked into Juniper's head. He knew about the rebellion. Everdeen didn't. He was the one that designed the dress. He turned it into a mockingjay.

By the time Katniss's buzzer went off, the audience broke into a wild applause and the girl headed back to her seat, leaving trails of smoke as Peeta headed for his interview. Ever since last year, the boy and the host had been a natural comedic duo. They had been a big success with the Capitol, from what Juniper could remember (and she remembered quite well), and they effortlessly began to open with a few jokes about fires, feathers, and overcooking poultry. But Peeta Mellark's mind was somewhere else and Caesar knew that it was.

"So, Peeta, what was it like when, after all you've been through, you found out about the Quell?"

"I was in shock," Peeta admitted. "I mean — one minute I'm seeing Katniss looking so beautiful in all these wedding gowns and the next..."

Juniper had the urge to puke.

"You realised there was never going to be a wedding?" Caesar asked gently.

The boy paused for a long moment as if he was deciding something before looking at the crowd, then at the floor, and finally at the host as he asked, "Caesar, do you think all our friends here can keep a secret?"

"I feel quite certain of it," says Caesar. As if this wasn't being broadcasted to the entirety of Panem.

"We're already married."

And there it was.

Juniper had to hand it to the boy. He certainly knew how to wrap a crowd around his finger as the audience reacted in astonishment. But he wasn't good enough to have Juniper at his feet as she immediately looked at Katniss, who buried her face in the folds of her skirt. That just proved Peeta was lying.
