Chapter 2

Chapter 2- Unusual spots!

   The afternoon was very exciting for Cordellia.

   As soon as she entered the house, she throw her back-bag on the floor, undressed her shoe then she started to dance with herself around the house thinking that she was alone. Not long after, Cordellia heard a voice coming from inside saying. "Wow! You must be really happy!"                               

  That made Cordellia freeze, she looked pale as dead at first. But as she realized it was Fiona, her face turned red and she said. "Not really"                                                                                

   "Can't believe that..'' said Fiona. "…. Whatever, how did your first day go?!''  

   "As usual,'' answered Cordellia, shortly. 

   "So, what was all this excitement and hula-hoop dance about?!'' asked Fiona.

   "I was..…just feeling hot so, I danced for air!'' answered Cordellia; apparently lying since it was October, which meant autumn. And autumn wasn't hot at the Antarctica, what a bad lie? Better lie next time!

   "…I thought you would be at work now…'' wondered Cordellia, trying to drag Fiona out of talking about her.                              

   "I know, but I felt tired so I decided not to go…'' explained Fiona, allowing to change the subject knowing that Cordellia won't ever give in the real reason.                                     

   "Good, I'll be in my room.'' said Cordellia, as she carried her backpack and shoes.

   ‘There's sure a big thing to get her that much happy!’ thought Fiona silently, as she watched Cordellia barrel upstairs to her room and close the door with a slam behind her.

   Meantime, George's mother was passing in the hall when she saw him laying on his bed motionless, she approached him terrified, saying. "Oh, my! Are you ok, dear?!''

  "Yes, I am.'' said George, laughing as he got up.                                                                    

   "Oh! You naughty boy, you frightened me to death!'' she said, smiling as she seated herself next to him putting the bin on the basket next to her.                                                                                                                     

   "I'm ok don't worry,'' he said, kissing his mother's head. "Ah, I'm just excited, I think I'm going to love it here.''                                                                                                

   "Is that it?!''questioned his mother, surprised."That's really good. I didn't think you would say so. You know, I think I will like it, too the weather is fantastic here not cold like God Land. Ok ,honey, I'd better continue what I was doing before your dad comes home!''                                                                                                            

   George's mother got up and carried the basket; which had antics and other contents, when she turned back saying."Get yourself a snack. Your dad will be late for dinner tonight!''
