"No, I don't want to go with you! Sure, you'll take me to a seven-star hotel or whisk me off to another country, but does it matter?

I've been trapped for 24 hours a day, always under your watch or those stupid bodyguards of yours! I hate it!

I want to walk the streets freely. I want to go to college, make friends, hang out with them. I want to live a normal life!"

He began to sob uncontrollably, the weight of his emotions breaking his composure.

Seizing the opportunity, Mrs. Jeon discreetly signaled to her bodyguards. The towering man gave a subtle nod and started climbing.

Jungkook sobbed, clutching a plushie in one hand while using the other to wipe away the tears streaming down his face. His breaths came in sharp, uneven gasps, like a
child overwhelmed by emotion.

The maids and butler looked on, wanting to intervene, but they knew better than to say a word.

Meanwhile, the bodyguard carefully climbed the tree, his movements slow and deliberate.

Jungkook, too preoccupied with rubbing his tear-streaked eyes, didn't notice the man approaching. But the moment he sensed someone near, he turned to his side and panicked.

"No, down't com-e closser!" he cried out, his lips trembling, unable to form the words properly through his sobs. Before he could say anything more, his voice faltered, choked by his tears.

The bodyguard scooped Jungkook up with one arm, his bulky frame making it effortless to carry the boy.

"I said, leave me! Let go!" Jungkook screamed, thrashing wildly. His legs kicked, and his hands clawed at his own hair, yanking out handfuls in his desperation.

The bodyguard, despite the pain, maintained a stoic expression-he had no choice. It was his job to remain composed, though inside, he wanted to cry.

The boy was making him suffer, pulling his hair until it felt like he might go bald.

But that wasn't the worst of it. When he felt the sharp bite of Jungkook's bunny-like teeth sinking into his skin, he nearly lost his will to endure.

The pain was searing, and he could feel his flesh being torn, sure it was already bleeding. Yet, what could he do? He had to bear it in silence.

Jungkook sank his teeth into every part of the bodyguard's arm that came near his mouth, releasing all his pent-up frustration and anger through the painful bites.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they reached the ground. Mrs. Jeon was the first to grab the boy's arm, pulling him toward the mansion as he continued to whine, though her stern scolding over his childish behavior never ceased.

Oh my goodness, what happened to your hand, John?" one of the maids asked, her eyes widening in shock at the sight of his arm, covered in bite marks, with some wounds still oozing blood.

"Just my usual weekly routine," John sighed, his voice weary. "At this rate, I'll lose my hand soon." He wiped his eyes, trying to hide the strain.

The maid looked at him with sympathy, gently patting his head in an attempt to offer some comfort.

Today, I'm writing my resignation letter, Lina. I'm done with this place and that innocent-looking monster," John muttered, wincing as Lina handed him a scarf to wrap his swollen hand.

"You say that every time," Lina replied with a smirk. "But you always tear up the resignation letter as soon as you hear about your salary raise."

Yeah, you're right," John sighed. "Why resign when I'm not getting paid enough in the first place? Ma'am! I'm not getting paid enough!" he shouted in mock frustration, kicking the air as he sulked, storming back into the mansion.

And guess what? His salary is about to double now. Lina watched him go, nodding to herself-she genuinely thought the man deserved it after enduring all those bites and nearly losing his hair.

Somewhere else-

"Yungsun, I just want to see my son! Why can't you understand that?" the man, about 45, shouted into his phone.

"And I don't want any mafia's shadow near my son," Mrs. Jeon replied coldly.

"He's my son too! Just because you don't approve of my profession doesn't mean you can take him away from me!" the man snapped, his patience wearing thin as her words pushed him to the edge.

'I can, and I am doing it." she replied with a chilling calmness. "My son will stay with me, and he'll never meet you again. You know why? Because you're the infamous missing criminal of Korea,
now running your illegal operations in the U.S. And the best part? You can't even go to the police for help."

Ahhh, damn it!" he yelled, hurling the phone against a nearby glass panel, shattering it into pieces.

"Taehyung!" he barked, and the man standing before him, with his usual cold expression, stepped forward.

"I don't care how, but you need to go to Korea and bring my son back to me," the man demanded, his voice heavy with frustration.

Taehyung had been waiting for this moment. Seeing his boss, the only family he had, longing for his son always weighed on him.

When do you want me to leave?" Taehyung asked calmly, already knowing what the answer would be.

"In two days," his boss replied. "In the meantime, gather information on him and my ex-wife. It'll help. After all, it's not a small task to kidnap the son of Korea's number one businesswoman."

"You don't have to worry. I'll bring your son back to you, safe and sound, and very soon," Taehyung assured him.

"I know, Taehyung. You're the only one I trust completely-you're the right person for this. But remember, he's my son. Not even the slightest harm should come to him, not even a scratch," his boss warned.

"Trust me, he won't. I'll protect your gem with my life if I have to. I made a promise," Taehyung replied with unwavering conviction.

"I believe you," his boss said quietly.

Taehyung nodded, bowed respectfully, and exited the room.
