"Listen, do you know how much older I am than you? Don’t you know how to show some respect? And what’s with these taunts, huh? When did I ever shout at you? Do you even realize how softly I’m speaking right now?

And yet here you are, disrespecting me. Do you know who I am? You’re just a kid, but listen to yourself, talking so big. What are you staring at me like that for? You think I’m scared of you?"

Jimin pointed his finger at Jungkook, whose lips were clenched tightly between his teeth. As Jimin waved his finger in front of Jungkook, in a split second, Jungkook grabbed Jimin's hand and bit down hard on his finger

—so harshly that blood started dripping. Jimin screamed in pain, grabbing everyone’s attention. They all rushed over, trying to separate Jungkook’s teeth from Jimin's hand, but it was no use. Jungkook was too angry to listen to anyone, acting purely on impulse.

"Ahhh! AHHH! Let go of me!" Jimin cried out, as now not just his finger but his wrist was caught in Jungkook’s fierce bite. RM and Zafar came running. RM held Jimin, while Zafar restrained Jungkook, finally separating them. Just as Mrs. Jeon’s shouting reached them, everyone started focusing on calming Jungkook. Of course, they all knew they’d be hearing a lecture soon for not keeping a better eye on him.

Seizing the moment, RM scooped the crying Jimin into his arms and hurriedly left the scene while everyone was distracted by Jungkook.

"Let me go! He’s a bad man! Bad man!" Jungkook shouted, struggling against Zafar, who held him tightly. Mrs. Jeon rushed over, her face filled with concern, blaming herself for having fallen asleep at such a crucial moment.

"Kook, baby, what happened?" She hugged the thrashing boy, and Jungkook finally clung to his mother, now crying in her comforting embrace. "He yelled at me...he scolded me," Jungkook sobbed. Mrs. Jeon shot angry glares at everyone else.

"He said I was disrespectful..." Jungkook hiccupped. Mrs. Jeon calmed him with soothing words, gently rubbing his back until, after some time, the crying boy quieted down. Before long, he was snoring softly, asleep in his mother’s arms, looking like a peaceful bunny.

"Who scolded my son?" she asked in a low, menacing tone that made everyone fall silent. Zafar pointed toward the spot where Jimin had been, but when they looked, he was gone.

"Where did they go?" Zafar muttered to himself, but Mrs. Jeon was too busy glaring at him for not doing his job properly.

"I don’t care what happened. I’ll deal with it later. Right now, my son is more important. But whoever made him cry—I expect them here before tomorrow evening. Understood?"

Zafar nodded furiously, helping Mrs. Jeon gently guide Jungkook away, while the other bodyguards sighed, knowing they were in for a long day tomorrow.

"Are you out of your mind? You can’t just kidnap a 17-year-old!" Taehyung yelled over the phone.

"Then come get him yourself, or do whatever the hell you want, but I’m done," Jimin shouted back, wincing in pain as he held his bitten hand. RM was by his side, trying to console him as he teetered on the edge of tears again.

"I’m coming, and the first thing I’ll do is fire both of you. Mark my words," Taehyung snapped before hanging up.

"Blah blah, I’m leaving this job anyway," Jimin grumbled. RM rubbed his hand gently, causing Jimin to hiss in pain. He shot RM a glare, who chuckled nervously.

"Sorry."

"Whatever," Jimin muttered as RM carefully cleaned the wound with antiseptic, making Jimin wince and blink away tears.

"You know, I think he’s got some serious issues," Jimin said.

"He’s the boss’s son," RM reminded him.

Jimin rolled his eyes so hard they nearly reached 90°. When they returned to the house, they were met with a pair of piercing eyes.

"You’re here this early?" Jimin asked, confused. Traveling from the US to Korea in an hour was impossible.

"I figured you two would fail, so I took an earlier flight. And guess what? I was right," Taehyung replied coldly.

"What do you mean, fail? Look at what he did to me, and yet you're blaming me?" Jimin whined, tears brimming in his eyes again.

"Who did this?" Taehyung asked, his eyes narrowing as he took in the red marks on Jimin’s hand.

"That kid, Jeon Jungkook. All I did was ask him to show a little respect, and then he called me short. I still tolerated that!"

"You know what? Forget it. I’ll handle everything myself. I know exactly what I need to do." Taehyung’s voice was chilling as he walked away, phone already in hand, making a call.

"I’ll do everything," Jimin mimicked in a mocking tone before storming off to show the house owner what Jungkook had done to him. RM stayed behind, his eyes drifting toward the kitchen, where someone was casually eating an apple and watching the whole scene unfold.

"They had a golden opportunity and still couldn’t manage to kidnap him?" Hobi said, disappointed. Taehyung nodded, his gaze cold.

"Anyway, we can’t just go in like that. The entire wall is wired with intelligent signal alarms. If anyone tries to climb over or open the gate without the key or password, the alarms will go off in two minutes," Hobi explained. Taehyung remained unfazed, already knowing what to do. He pulled out his phone and made another call.

"Stifen, I’m sending you an IP address. Hack it and get me the password." He hung up when the person on the other end confirmed.

"You sure this will work?" Hobi asked, skeptical.

"Just wait and watch. He’s the best hacker," Taehyung replied confidently. Hobi nodded, though still unsure.

Fifteen minutes later, Taehyung received a message. Without hesitation, he punched in the code, and the lock clicked open. It was midnight, and Hobi had already taken care of the bodyguards in his own... style.
