Felix's POV
It was around five in the morning when I began to stir. My eyes shot open and a fearful whimper escaped me. I noticed I was shaking and sweating. I looked around and noticed I was still in Ryan's arms. I sniffed and carefully extracted myself from his arms. I moved out to the balcony. I leaned over and rested my elbows on the railing. I propped my arms up with it and rested my face in my hands. I had started crying quietly into them. Fucking nightmares. I hated them. Especially this one more than anything.
It was about ten minutes later when I suddenly felt arms wrap around me from behind. I tensed up. "Felix?" I heard Ryan's soft voice ask. I sniffed and removed my head from my hands, glancing over my shoulder at him. He stared at me with concern. "What's wrong?" Ryan asked. I blinked and looked down.
"N-Nothing." I whispered. Ryan sighed and turned me around so I was facing him. He gently grabbed my chin and tilted my head up.
"You know I don't believe that. And we both know that isn't the truth. So, what's wrong dear? You know you can tell me anything." He whispered. I pressed closer to him unconsciously. I rested my hands on his chest.
"I-I had a nightmare." I whispered.
"About?" Ryan asked softly. He slid his arms around my waist.
"I-I came back from shopping and you weren't home. I called you at least five times and you never answered." I whispered. My voice had grown shaky." And then...After that, the hospital called and they told me you had died." I whispered. Ryan's gaze softened. He pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged him back tightly and buried my face into his chest and shook as tears fell from my eyes.
"Baby, that won't happen." Ryan whispered. He slowly rubbed my back in slow circles. I clutched onto him and stayed as close to him as I could. "Shh, it's okay babe. It was only a dream. Nothing more." He said. I sniffed and nodded. He let out a soft breath. He gently placed one hand on the back of my head, guiding my head so it was on his chest. I tightened my hold on him. I could hear the strong beat of his heart. I closed my eyes and just focused on that sound. Ryan held my head on his chest while he rubbed my back in slow circles with his other hand.
After a while, we pulled away. I felt Ryan run his fingers through my hair." Are you okay babe?" Ryan asked softly.
I nodded after a moment.
"Good." He murmured. He slowly ran his hand along my shoulders before pulling away. He gazed at me warmly. I met his gaze. My eyes were still a bit red from crying. He stroked my cheek." Don't cry sweetheart. It's going to be alright." Ryan murmured. I nodded silently. After a moment, I pressed my lips against his. Ryan kissed me back softly. He stroked my cheek before pulling away. I sniffed. He gave me a small smile." I'm still here." He murmured. I nodded.
"And I'm glad you are." I whispered. I kissed his cheek softly. Ryan smiled warmly. He then turned and leaned against the railing, gazing out at the sunrise. I leaned against him, resting my head against shoulder, watching the sun rise too. Ryan turned his head and kissed the top of my head. I smiled, relaxing against him.
"Hey, we should just walk along the beach. Just to pass some time and it's relaxing for you." Ryan murmured. I nodded.
"Sounds good dear." I murmured. I kissed his cheek before moving back into the room. He followed me and smiled warmly. He slipped his arm around me. He led me out of the bedroom and over to the elevator. He pressed the button and smiled. He led me in once it opened. I blinked and shifted closer to him, resting my head on his shoulder. Ruan smiled and kissed the top of my head. I loved it when he did that. I looked ahead once the doors opened. We walked out of the elevator and left the hotel. Ryan trailed his fingertips along my side as we turned and headed down to the beach. I shivered a little. Once we were by the beach, Ryan grabbed my hand. We walked side by side, swaying our hands a bit. I smiled warmly at the feeling. He pressed closer to me and I could feel the warmth radiating off of his body. It was so soothing.
"I spy something beautiful." Ryan suddenly said. I looked at him for a few seconds.
"Is it you?" I asked, my gaze warm and locked in him. A faint blush formed on his cheeks but he shook his head.
"No. Close." He said. He turned his head to lock his eyes with mine." It's you my love." He whispered. I felt the heat Russ into my cheeks. I kissed his cheek.
"Stop it you. You're making me blush." I said with a smile.
"Good. You're pretty damn adorable when you're embarrassed." He murmured. He let go of my hand and draped his arm around my waist. He pulled me closer to him. I hid my face in his neck with a content smile.
"What would I ever do without you?" I asked, my voice quiet. Ryan was silent for a moment.
"I'm never leaving you sweetie." He finally whispered. He halted us and turned to face me. He stared into his eyes." I'm never leaving you. I may not always be physically here for you. But, im always going to stay here." He whispered, placing a hand on my chest over my heart. I looked down at him hand for a moment before back up at him.
"I know you'll never leave me babe. But...Its not that same if you aren't by my side." I whispered. Ryan gazed at me, running his thumb along my chest.
"I know baby. But I'm not planning on leaving you for years to come." He said. I looked down and rested my hand on his. I stared into his eyes. He smiled and kissed my cheek. I closed my eyes. "Come on Felix. Let's continue onwards." He said. I opened my eyes and smiled at him." I have some reservations for a restruant by our hotel." He said. I smiled.
"You're the best Ry." I murmured. He smiled.
"I like spoiling you." He said. As we continued walking, I gazed at him. I knew then that no one else could ever replace him. He was my soul mate. He was the other half of me that I needed in my life. And I knew he wasn't going anywhere.
